Staff was professional, considerate and efficient

The lawyers at this firm are experts in the field of elder law and I felt extremely secure knowing that my family's financial future and well being were in such good hands.

I was not at all pleased with my experience. I found the receptionist evasive when i clearly asked about the fee for consultation in my correspondence when making the appointment. In point of fact, she ignored the question only addressing it when we arrived at the office. When I asked specific questions, I found her answers "slippery" at best. At no point did she apologize for her error only saying that she didn't mean to not answer it. I found this unsatisfactory to say the least. I personally believe when dealing with the elderly, great care should be exercised to ensure they know exactly what is happening. We left feeling that, if this is the experience to start, it would only decline from that point. I have no basis to assess their legal skill but I can say without hesitation that our experience yielded no confidence in how seniors might be treated. I'd recommend looking at other firms.

The ladies from Takacs McGinnis were most helpful as I dealt with the injury to my Mother, and her subsequent death. The ladies were all very professional but remained personable during the 18 months it took to close my mother's estate. Would have been quicker had I worked with the same diligence. I will remain with Takacs McGinnis to assure my family will have a smooth passing.

This is an excellent law firm with great staffing.

We have used Takacs and McGinnis for my mother and father and also my wife. With this firm we were able to keep my mother and father from spending down all their assets and still live in a comfortable surroundings. I feel without their help we would have run out of money 5 years before they passed away. With my wife she got a fungus pneumonia and was in the hospital for about 6 months. Before she died they were going to put her in a nursing home. The nursing home was going to charge me $18,000 a month for her care. This scared me and I knew I needed help.
