Worst mistake I ever made hiring this guy. Very unprofessional, very lazy, almost always late. Dishonest, rude, and never knew what was going on with my case. Never communicated what was going on with my case. I had to always try to contact him to get information and often times got the wrong information days later, then tried to charge me extra for the communications. My case was made worse by his actions. He failed to respond to a motion that was filed getting my most important evidence thrown out.of court. Beware. Complaint has been filed with the Kentucky Bar Association. If you have had a similar experience with Mr. Amburgey I encourage you to visit the Kentucky Bar Association web sight. Do a search on the page under file complaint and you can download and print the complaint form from the website. The more they know about lawyers like this the better the world will be.

we were from out of state and got a citation driving through mt vernon on the highway. we were given a court date to return, 9 hours from where we live, because of a jerk cop. i'm so grateful that bobby was able to get it sorted out without us having to come back for court. he saved us so much money, time, stress and worry. he really knows his stuff and knew what to do right away. we did consults with a couple lawyers but my gut told me to go with bobby. i'm glad i did! he is one of the most genuine lawyers i have hired. he was communicative with me and always answered my questions even when they went beyond what was necessary for my case. thank you again!!!!

I wouldn't waist my time or money. Rides the coat tails of others. Wouldn't stand up for client, kept saying "let it ride and let see what happens." Another attorney was almost held in contempt and thrown out of court. To no avail he pretty much hung his client. If you are appointed him your options are to either fire him or bring a rope. Honestly believe he is part of the corruption in this states system. Law suite in works, several names are being mentioned and will be made public

what experience??? he didn't question ONE witness or call one witness. Rude as hell, had my child convicted before the trial. If your assigned him,,your best bet is to fire his ass and represent yourself
