I worked with Brandon May to get custody of my non-biological son after his mother abandoned him at a neighbors house and left for another state when we split up.
Brandon was courteous, professional and fought hard to help me get de-facto guardianship of him. After several months of court, I now have sole custody of my son and I'm able to keep him safe from being taken 1,800 miles away from his home and left with god knows who.
Some people may not understand what I mean by "non-biological son," but Brandon did.
I told this boy I was his dad and I'd always be there to protect him, whether I helped make him or not, and Brandon did everything perfectly to ensure that I could continue to do that.
