She gave a hard time from the beginning. I have a bachelor's degree and I have provided for my daughter on my own. I usually work full time and he has never worked. The only time he has seen her was at the paternity test. I hope I never need to deal with hthis office again. Every one else was fine but that one biych has issues.

They make it a really long drawn out process to the point of several years.

Very discouraging going through them. Started this process in May it is now September and nobody knows anything. It is an interstate case. Address and place of employment are up to date and contact was made with the other party but they have pushed the responsibility on the other state. They are rude and asking for them to reach out to the other state for an update seems irrational to them! They talk to you like you are beneath them. I guess the nature of their business gives them the impression that those using their services aren’t worth respect and fair treatment. I heard others talking in the background and when I asked if the lady was talking to me she said “who else am I talking to? You are the only one on the phone aren’t you?” Just WOW!!! Very unprofessional!

When you call the rep that answers the phone is rude. And if you have any questions about something its like their not really interested and just give you short answers. I hate having to call down there because its the same way everytime. They either need to teach them better customer service or they need to find a new job.

I have never in my life dealt with something like this. They still haven’t confirmed his address after 4 months or verified his employment. So now I’m going to have to redo the process of verifying his address AGAIN. Remind you it’s already been 4 months. I still haven’t even went to court. Here I am a single mother working over 40 hours to provide for my child, and I can’t even get child support. I was told at one point they would get to my case when they saw fit. The father of my child is out here having other children and taking care of two that are not his own. I can’t even get a little bit of child support. It’s like the state no longer cares about its single mothers. (I am not a dead beat mother either. I work and provide EVERYTHING for my child.)Worst experience of my life.

8 years no child support has been paid over 2 years filed with this office and still shifting the blame from the court to the sheriffs office. ** Update we finally went to court (11 months since the first post) and the mother didn’t show up Cristel D. Ledford Assistant District Attorney said she’d have a warrant for arrest put out but that never happened. Completely incompetent establishment!!

Took off work and applied for child support 10 months ago and still haven't recieved anything! No mail, no calls, nothing! I called all the time, left messages, nothing! This is ridiculous!

After 20 days i finally get an answer from my case worker. I am the dad and not a deadbeat. I was paying my ex without an support order for over a year like clockwork as soon as my VA disibilty comes in. Most of the i sent money before the first for the following month. Finally childsupport was sent and because i sent money to my ex on the 30th and not in the actuall month childsupport the child support wont count the $900 for that month. So after 20 days i finally get an answer saying it dosent count. So my advice to everyone dont give your ex any money for the month when you have your court date. Also i would like to thank childsupport for destroying what i had planed for my kids, i now have to get a refund on plane tickets and take all the presents back. Merry christmas Ms. HALE

I love Mitzi. As long as you do what your supposed to as a parent you're fine. I love watching her have zero sympathy for dead beat pieces of trash dad's like my kid's dad. She sees straight through it, and tells the judge exactly what they are when they try to lie. I'm in college to be her (her position) and I will be exactly like her. If y'all work and do what you're supposed to she has sympathy. If you don't, she doesn't care. Pretty straight forward.

After a year and a half the papers were finally served to my child's father, it was a year and a half calling every month to ask my status and every time they said they didn't have his address, every time I gave them the address. He lived in the same place the entire time. They claimed they never received paper work from my end because they "mailed it to me" except I went in person to the office to sign the paper work. When I brought that up they said "oh we laid it on the desk and never put it in our system" every one that works there is rude. The place is a joke and not a single person there is qualified for the job. If you're filing in their office don't plan on getting child support.

Phone is always busy.

Not an easy place to deal with. I receive support from my ex and pay to one myself and as a male I get grief and hassles from both ends.

This place is bs how ru supposed to talk to someone when they won't answer the phone

this place is repug you can never just speak to YOUR case worker and the lady that answers the phone can NEVER solve my problems.
