Have yet to finish my settlement because Im not medically released, but so far they're super nice, very helpful, and understanding people.

I contacted this law firm a few years ago about my mother's injury, and their response was that they were not able to help at this time. What does that mean, you have a heavy case load, conflict of interest, or no case. I tried to reach out to them to explain, no one responded. I was discouraged. Others told me to look for another attorney. By the time I took their advice, the statue of limitations had expired. It was a clear case of negligence on the facility's part according to another law firm. Since then, my Mom passed away. So No recommendation from ME.

I called this office trying to get help with a disability case. I have lupus, stage 3 kidney disease, severe joint damage and nerve damage in both wrists and the lupus continally adds new organ damage like high blood pressure, inflammation around my heart etc. I have digestive problems with severe bleeding in my colon. I also have Bi polar, ocd, adhd,clinical depression with suicidal attempts. Social anxiety disorder, irrational fears that will keep me isolated from people. So i have been waiting aprox 3 wks for a response on if they could help me. I have called 2x left messages and no response. So i call again and get told they sent a letter oct 9th. I still have no letter and was informed they couldnt take my case i guess i dont have enough wrong with me for them to take it? I meet all guidelines for mental health and for lupus diagnoses. My kidneys took a very hard hit due to length of trying to get diagnosed. Its not reversable and i have 50% use of my kidneys. Yall are supposed to be great lawyers but thank you for letting me know your not confident in yoir lawyer skills to take this case. And the lack of professionalism i wouldn't feel comfortable allowing you to handle my case. So i truly appreciate showing me that up front. Wow smh

I called today to reach out for help with legal representation to a claim about the device called mirena IUD making me develop a rare condition called idiopathic intercrainal hypertension also known as pseudo tumor cerbri this disease has almost costed me my life two times. I was told they were not taking those cases and couldn't help me further. I hope to reach back out to them when they are taking those cases and get the representation I deserve

Every time I had an appointment Ms. Baskin was extremely pleasant. From the attorney to the case manager everybody was great. They made it happen when we thought it couldn’t be done. I’m very pleased!!

Been fighting for my disability for almost 4 years now and the disability lawyer I had at another firm was giving me the run and round and eventually quit so I seeked out to find another attorney when I saw the ad for Kalfus and Nachman I called they took on my case and I must say they worked alot faster than any attorney I've ever talked to or seen about my disability and I'm proud to say they're always on they're JOB if I ever called I received calls back when I met my attorney for the first time he was really nice treated me kind and with respect I now have a hearing approaching and I'm so nervous about it but my attorney reassured me I have nothing to worry about so if I had to recommend an attorney it would be them #GREAT JOB GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!

I had a disability denial for Mental Health and asked Kalfus and Nachman to help me with my appeal process. After calling them, they stated they would call me back the next morning. After two days, I called back and the lady said Oh, we just got it back from the attorney review and she asked me two more questions and assured me she would call me back. I called back this morning and the lady said "oh I just got it back" and for whatever reason the attorney doesn't want to take your case because you haven't been hospitalized for your mental health issue. Excuse me, in VA the only time you are hospitalized for mental health is if you are suicidal or threatening to hurt someone. It's just an excuse. They wanted a SLAM DUNK case and mine was not in their eyes even though though they did not take the time to know all the details of why I got denied. I got denied because I was seeing a family dr for mental health rather than a psychiatrist. The reason I was seeing my family dr is because I couldn't find decent mental health care in my area either because I was on Medicaid or because I saw one that I was not satisfied with. As of today, I am still seeking mental health care with a "real" psychiatrist. I am very, very disappointed in Kalfus and Nachman. They say it's so simple and they will help you. Bologna. Mental Health care all the way around sucks!!!!!!! It's not taken seriously unless you are suicidal or a danger to others. Simple as that!!!!!!!
