Sent an email inquiry. Never heard anything for 3 weeks. Was going to call, but decided to do a live chat. Rosa assisted me and was very nice and pleasant. Reviewed my experience and stated that I had never been contacted regarding my email. Received a call from someone representing Spicer. Very rude. Told me a consultation (which I thought was free) would be$225. I finally agreed, but when I went to set the appointment and the name of the company that had made charges against me was revealed, they stated (again very rudely) it would be a conflict and they could not help me. They hung up on me without any further explanation. I may be a convicted felon, but that does not define me . Everyone deserves common courtesy.

Best lawyer around and also easiest to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

I own a single property in Roanoke county that I have been renting out for the past few years and up until recently I've had pretty good luck with the tenants. Once I ran into a situation with a problematic tenant though, I found myself disjointed and confused about the law and what I could do to remedy the situation either by squashing lease violations or potentially evicting the tenant. The law seems to heavily favor the tenant and the steps required to remedy a problem situation, left me uncertain about how to proceed. I attempted to reach out to a couple of attorneys in the Roanoke area but had little luck in even getting someone's attention.

In stepped John Robertson w/Spicer Law. A mutual acquaintance put me in touch with John and while I'm sure that my particular needs didn't represent a windfall of revenue for John, he was very gracious, professional, and helpful. John made it easy for me to ask questions, maintaining regular contact with me via email which I think worked out well for both he and I. This allowed me to get the answers I needed, when I needed them, without unduly burdening John's schedule and other responsibilities. Not only did John direct me but he went a huge step beyond my expectations and actually taught me about the process so that I could "fend for myself". In my opinion that is representative of someone who truly cares about people.

As much as I dread having to go through the courts for anything at all, in this particular situation John has enabled me to do so with confidence, clarity and understanding.
