The first meeting went well and I thought I had someone who would be willing to represent me. After pulling together financial resources to retain Mr. Ratliff, I reached out to his office to see what steps needed to be taken to retain him. After leaving a voicemail and sending two text messages, I have received zero response. A simple reply stating they were unwilling to represent me would have been acceptable.
