His professional services gave me great satisfaction and peace of mind.

DO NOT waste your money on these attorneys. My husband spent the big bucks to have Diehl himself and it was like throwing your money out the window. Diehl did not research our specific situation and got played by the opposing attorney at every turn. Do your research and find an attorney who is truly going to fight for you. Again please seek counsel at another firm if you want to win.

I phoned several highly recommended Richmond firms, and was surprised to be put through immediately to an attorney when I phoned Barnes & Diehl. Robert Harris handled my divorce compassionately, efficiently, and was very, very thorough. I cannot imagine surviving the whole process with anyone else. From the administrative assistants, to the paralegals and then with Bobby himself, this very personal matter was treated with care and concern. No question was too minor or trivial for them, and responses were immediate. I can recommend them, and especially Mr. Harris, without reservation.

Excellent Law Firm

I had a visitation case that was a debacle. After pouring well over 20k into the case and came out with nothing. Larry Diehl was unprepared for my case repeatedly. My case went on for over a year. He went into court forgetting key documents, mishaps with presenting my drivers license instead of the other party as proof of residence and rambling in court for hours on the same topic without getting to the point. To top it off, when the final ruling came, he never even called me or helped me with an appeal before the deadline passed. I put complete trust in him and should not have. He rested our case without presenting photos, or even asking me for key documents (as simple as a lease) that would have strengthened and proven my case. When I asked questions he yelled at me when I was already in tears and said "don't blame me, I've done my best". I had a friend who used Brian Jones at the firm and had great results.

Very rude and couldn’t help with anything

Ronald Evans was absolutely outstanding. He took a situation that had been dragging on and not progressing and quickly got things moving and resolved. He was the consummate professional in every way. Followed up and responded with a true sense of urgency in every instance. His knowledge and experience gave a true sense of confidence and he backed it up with results!! Craig Sampson was my attorney from 2014-2015. I wasn't going to leave a review but I'm actually still dealing with the mess he left me with. When I got my file Craig had left copies of the CASA report in it which stated the father had drug problems. My attorney never brought to my attention that an actual doctor stopped prescribing narcotics to him. Never even asked a Judge for a drug test because Craig hid this information from me. It was the only factual information in my whole case! Please use another firm. I believe this firm sees desperate families who will stop at nothing for justice as an opportunity to drag a case to appeal . This firm doesn't care about you ....only dollar signs.

If you have an appelit issue ... Larry is the best

I sent an inquiry through the Barnes & Diehl, P.C. Website on Saturday. Cathy Patton was in the office that day and responded to the email and we set up an appointment to meet with Irene Delcamp the following Monday. Ms. Delcamp put me at ease with respect to a recent seperation. Fast forward, things have worked out and the matter has been satisfactorily settled. I feel Ms. Delcamp went the extra mile with respect to her care and diligence in getting this matter done for me.

I used Craig Sampson in 2015 for a very sensitive divorce and custody matter. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and diligently Mr. Sampson handled my situation. He was able to calm my worries and achieve the results that best met my children’s needs and my own. After using Alicia Finley with Barnes & Diehl Law firm in 2013, I recommend you stay away from this Law Firm. Alicia Finley was so bad I asked Eddie Barnes for another attorney and at first he denied a new attorney. After I showed him what Finley did and didn't do Eddie Barnes appointed another lawyer. The second lawyer came at the end of my case and my X-wife got everything she asked for. All I got from Barnes & Diehl was a $47,000 bill and my X-wife lawyers bill was $12,000. The only thing Barnes & Diehl is good at is "Billable Hours". After all the negative comments I've seen about Finley, she still works for Barnes & Diehl. As My Sign says: THINK TWICE ABOUT CALLING BARNES & DIEHL, YOUR CASE WILL DEPEND ON IT.

Like it was stated in previous reviews STAY AWAY from this place. The administrative Kathy was very rude I called previously and didn’t get a return phone call . When I did finally get through to her office after I was told I could be helped by the Secretary all the administrative could talk about was money and after I told her that money was not a problem I just needed help she kept saying no I cannot take the case and did not have a real reason . I honestly felt like I was judge by the way my voice sound ! Because she had no reason at all not to take my case after I continuously asked her why she just kept saying because I can’t it’s too much .Its like she didn’t believe I had any money for a lawyer . That was the worst service I have ever had. And I wish I had of seen all the negative reviews before even calling .

This firm made alot of promises, Ed is great at the sales pitch but brought nothing to the table. My divorce process was drug out over 3 years at a cost of over $50,000 with no return. None of my evidence or anything about my case was brought before a judge. I finally had to hire a new attorney to cean things up and reach some finality. Knowing what I know now, I would have left the firm and sought more competent help.
