If I had an option to give more than 5 stars Mr. Jones would get over 10!! He has been absolutely amazing through this stressful time. I was charged with 4 felonies and Mr. Jones was able to dismissed two and downgrade the other two to the best possible outcome. As a soldier with over 14 year of service in the Army, I was able to continue my successfully Army career without have a big impact on my civilian records. I will recommend Mr. Jones any day. He is strong, smart, discipline and a hard worker. He possess all you need for a criminal defense attorney.

-Very hard to get a hold of.

-Very little communication in general, you will be kept in the dark. Did not meet or talk to him before I was actually in court.

-30+ minutes late to both my court meetings.

-Seemed liked I was unimportant to him, like he was just trying to get rid of me to get to his next client.

-Did not tell me i had to go to my probation meeting after court. Again little communication.

-Seemed like I could have gone through the whole process without a lawyer honestly.

He managed to get my case reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor with no active jail time. I was beyond stressed throughout the whole case. Very nasty law firm called just to speak to a lawyer in regards to a court case I thought they’d be able to help me with and the lawyer was SO NASTY asking me “Do you have the money or not” ... very unprofessional I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

I was charged with a Felony 3rd offense Dui and most attorneys would just attempt to get their client to go with a plea bargain and call it a day but Not Mr.Jones once I declined the offer from the prosecutor he went back in that court room and tore the prosecutor, the prosecutors witness,and the cops story apart even caught the officer in lies. And as it was my time to stand and face my judgement I was found Not Guilty of Felony 3Rd offense Dui. This was not my first time I seen mr.jones in action I retained him for my sister in a federal case and he actually beat The Feds at Trial for my sister as well. I can't thank Mr.Jones enough he has helped our family in our toughest times God bless that man. He deserves every bit of 5 Stars

This was my first time ever getting in trouble with the law and also was in Virgina on business so it was nervous when you live 500 miles away and had to hire a lawyer over the phone. Never felt that Mr. Jones prepared properly for the trial. He was nothing but confident leading up to the trial, but when he got there, major, obvious holes in the prosecution's case were overlooked. I had to request for him to meet several times to go over the case and the possible questions that might come. There was no strategizing,just winging it. Never got the impression that he took the case seriously.

This Lawyer is arrogant and thinks he know what hes doing he takes people money and run with it. Has no means of researching any info. Doesnt even have a phone that can conference you in on a three way call. Please do not waste your money on this so call Attorney.

Vaughan Jones is a total boss in the courtroom. He handled my assault case beautifully and I am very grateful for his experience. I would never hire Vaughn Jones again he will surely play the role of an experienced lawyer who has your best interest at heart but don t let it fool you. He was very manipulative in his discussions with my brother about this trial he lied to him and didn't even show the evidence of the case to his defendant. I thought at one point he was even working for the prosecuter. He will take your money and u will never hear from him. In my opinion if you are thinking about hiring him don't you have a better chance with a court appt lawyer. Worst decision we could have ever made my family hiring him 7,000 right down the drain don't hire this guy.

I hired Mr. Jones and was very impressed with how easy it was to get in touch with him or his paralegal. He was very affordable compared to others that I contacted as well. Vaughn Jones was hired for a family member. I thought he was going to do a better job then what he did but was a huge disappointment. He was always late for the court hearings. I had to practically email, text and call this man back to back in order for him to even respond. Most of the time I had to get his paralegal to contact him since he ignored my responses to contact him. He claims he has all the experience in law but did a terrible job in court. He does a terrible job in communicating with his client and the family. I have caught not once but on different occasions told different stories to myself and his client. I wouldn't recommend him to my worse enemy. If you want a lawyer who doesn't care to defend you are you loved ones then by all hire him. If you want a lawyer to ignore your calls and don't visit you to let you know what's going on the he is the one. If you want a lawyer that is late and I mean over 10 minutes or more late to your court appearance then choose him. If you want lawyer who just want a check and nothing more then choose this one. And yes everything on here are facts not lies. In saying this if you need a lawyer you better off hiring a court appointed attorney at least they will do a better job and has your best interest. I will probably do a better job as your lawyer.

Vaughan Jones is not worth the money. He does not return calls and he will tell you a lie real quick. Save your money and find a good attorney. He does not have the strength to fight for you. If i could rate him zero stars I would. I hired him back in 2013 to help with my now husband and he has got to be the laziest, useless lawyer ever. Gladly took my $1,500 but did NOTHING to help. What he did for me, I could have done for myself. Never met him and he never even bothered to go down to see/talk to who i hired him to represent to get the facts of the case. I definitely should have hired ANYONE else. I meant to review him a long time ago but his name recently came up and reminded me how much i hate this guy. Vaughan is a good trial attorney and is great when you have him standing in front of you. But that's the biggest issue! He has no "back" office if you will and is incredibly difficult to get a hold of. He will literally ignore you and will do the bare minimum after you pay him. My suggestion is to definitely go somewhere else for your legal needs.

I must admit, Vaughan is a very professional, charismatic, and most assuredly a subject matter expert in terms of criminal defense law!
