Mr. Taylor is a life saver! I had gotten a reckless driving ticket 91/65 in charlotte county and which means i was initially charged with a misdemeanor. We retained the firm to handle a speeding ticket for my son. They mishandled/misscomunicated the court's instructions. Joe wrote us a detailed letter instructing us on what to do in accordance with the plea agreement to reduce the ticket. He neglected to note a provision of the court in that letter resulting in my son receiving a reckless driving for non compliance of the court order. My son was found guilty in absentia because this firm did not inform us of that provision and my son did not take the required driver safety course Joe omitted from his letter to us.

NO reply or response. 6+ emails met only one brief reply from his paralegal stating she would let Joe know. Bar complaint filed. Find someone else who pays attention to details AND returns calls. I received a speeding ticket over the summer and received numerous letters in the mail from lawyers asking to be hired in support of my case. When narrowed down i called several to talk to on the phone and Mr Taylor called me back immediately. After deciding to go with Mr Taylor I realized I had a few other questions about supporting documents I had for my case, and a few questions. After several emails with NO responses, voicemails, and phone calls over a two month period it was apparently impossible to reach Mr Taylor. All I ever heard was the same excuse from the receptionist “I will pass your message along and have him call you back.” We’ll my court date comes up now and still no word from Mr Taylor and I come to find out from again his receptionist after calling 5 days after my court date to find out the final judgement that Mr Taylor was running behind that day and they pushed the date out a month. Now another waiting game a month later my date comes up again I need to call Mr Taylor’s office to find out the final verdict and I’m told a letter is being typed up and when Mr Taylor reviews it she will send it out. Two weeks later In the postal mail I get a letter stating I owe a fine to the state of VA but no explanation whether i have points on my license or any other information. I am Extremely dissatisfied with this service and would not recommend Mr Taylor to anyone or trust him in that sense. If you cannot communicate with a lawyer your paying there is something VERY wrong. I’m sure your also thinking why didn’t I ask for my money back to hire someone else? Well I tried that and I was told “Mr Taylor will call you back about a refund” nope never received that call either !!!!

After waiting to hear from him and his office regarding my reckless driving ticket. I ended up with a 400 dollar fine and a drivers ed class that has to be approved by the courts. I'm giving Mr. Taylor's law office a two-star rating because him and his office staff never picks up the phone and is Lackadaisical when it comes to the communication. I wasn't satisfied with the outcome and I wouldn't recommend his services. My ticket was originally 200 dollars with the possibility of points on my license. I am not from the State of Virginia. In Georgia, it is rare that a person receives a ticket for going 83 mph because the maximum speed limit on the highway is 75 mph.

Attorney Taylor was very helpful and effective in getting positive results for traffic violation I received while driving out of state on a road trip through VA headed to a conference in Atlanta.
I was driving over the set speed limit and had been distracted at the time it occurred and had not realized how much over the speed limit I was.

He was prompt in getting back to me through correspondence and in his service and attention to my case. I learned of his services through mail received as a result of public info generated by traffic ticket I received for speeding as well as several letters offering services from other law offices. I was also directed to call him personally if I had further questions and he called back when message was left.

I chose him because after notifying him, he directed that I could email him personally or call with any questions and explained my options of paying ticket fine with uncertainty of outcome vs being represented by him with the possibility of having no points against my record, which I thought was great since I had not had that response from others contacted. He was gladly available to stand in for me at my court date so that I would not have to drive 300+ miles to go in front of the judge (600+ miles, round trip), which helped me avoid a conviction and possibly get a mark on my driving record or an increase in my car insurance which would’ve been devastating to me. I have not had any citations against my record for over 10 years. I have been proud of that and I did not want the penalties.
