My dad had injured his foot on the job. He lost a couple of his toes. Mr. Gerald G. Lutkenhaus and his firm provided us with the best and I mean the best services. We were very please with the out come and recommend you to use his services.

Having suffered an injury at work, what started out as a possible strain or tear in the knee, became a complication that I have never heard of, let alone knew anyone that experienced it in my life. I followed all directions, went to company doctors and tests, and was diagnosed early on correctly and accurately. The damage was much more significant. Here's a few trigger words. If you've been doing everything requested, or you are even permitted to see your own surgeon and doctors, and suddenly the term IME comes into play, know this, CALL A LAWYER! I've regrettably learned that this is not a time where the insurance company is going to send you to another physician to get better or more comprehensive treatment. It's the bell being rung that you've been out too long, the injury is probably substantial, and they want to interject their "medical resources" in a perfectly legal, but inhumane manner, to have another doctor dispute, disrupt or totally refuse your injury, your integrity, the previous medical opinions and the entire process. Its like a demon entering the game, and your life, your injury and your family are placed in the balance. CALL A LAWYER ASAP. It won't save you for a lot of the problems this "medical opinion based on medical fact" will cause you, but you'll already be fighting for your health, and all the things the injury has separated you from. I found Mr. Lutkenhaus after I terminated representation I had with an Non-Attorney Advocate. Since I am a Veteran with PTSD at 100% my case was already expedited when I first met with Mr. Lutkenhaus on August 1, 2017 I had a hearing date already for October 5, 2017. I would highly recommend Mr. Lutkenhaus as a Social Security Lawyer, he is a straight talker, very knowledgeable and knows the laws and policies of Social Security. He and Anne, his paralegal review my files told me what was missing from my record and told me what I needed from my treating doctors. The Advocate only told me I needed more by never told me specifically what I needed. I went to my doctors, got the information Mr. Lutkenhaus told me I needed, and he took my case, we review my newly presented records and statements from my doctors and he accepted my case. We got to the AJ Hearing and Mr. Lutkenhaus had his strategy together with two options and case law which he presented to the Judge. Eight days later the judge issued a Fully Favorable Decision and I was paid 18 days later. Any Veteran with a VA award of 100% should see this team, in my opinion they are winners!

Workers compensation injury when I injured my knee. Auto mechanic couldn't do it any more. Jerry helped my wife so I contacted him and he helped me get a good deal so now I got a new job driving a truck.

Worked for me on a case. I acquired PTSD after getting a shock finding a suicide at my apartment complex. Their lawyer tried to show I could work at the complex. Fear kept me from doing this. He helped stop their attempt to cut off my compensation.

Horrible work comp attorney. After 5 years of getting strung along and told confusing stories that did not jive, I hired a new attorney and my case was settled in 3 months. This guy likes to drag your case out for majority of your ten years so that he can still collect a percentage of your settlement for doing nothing more than arranging paperwork. He never fought for unpaid meds or anything, his assistant is great but he is extremely unmotivated and not at all aggressive. Shop around there are a lot better work comp attorneys.

I used this attorney and my case was settled not because I wanted to, but because the other attorney applied pressure on my case to settle. This office did not fight hard enough to keep my case going. I had surgery in November 2014 my case was settled in April 2015, no more medical attention. Now I have a Torn Rotator Cuff Tear that required an extensive repair, and no more Physical Therapy. It has not been a year yet, and I am left to my own devices in healing and finding a job.
