Very bad have no clue of case law very unprofessional. I was hung up on twice because I wanted to cancel my legal action and called rude names. I believe this Harrisonburg location has people working there who is on drugs.

When I needed advice and someone in my corner, Mr. Cravens was there for me. He gave me his full attention and explained all of my options. I felt like I was being heard, and I will definitely be going back in the future. Everyone there was so kind. It was a great experience!

I went to Cravens & Noll regarding a civil case I needed advice on & they’re amazing. They put my fears to rest, they don’t just arbitrarily take your money & they told me if I have questions regarding my matter I can set up an appointment & pay as I go. They gave me the courtesy of listening to me, giving me good, fair advice & their time. It’s well worth my consultation fee & if I need further assistance with my case or other legal matters, I’ll be back.

Though my lawyer was excellent, The firm itself could not have made my experience more trying. Morgan Droke was amazing, and if she ever starts a private practice, I will recommend her to the moon and back, but from unclear billing practices to difficult staff, to holding on to my retainer for a full two months after my case was settled due to "company policy", I cannot warn you enough to avoid this firm. It is really unfortunate, because Ms. Droke did everything in her power to make this a pleasant experience, but her co-workers did everything they could to ruin her good work.

They handled everything in a timely manner and resolved my issue. Great people. I did feel like at times though I had to reach out to them more than they reached out to me to get answers. But at the end Allan reached out to me on his vacation to make sure everything was taken care of and answered my questions.

Friendly staff

Lack of Communication has made my family homeless. My Chapter 13 was filed with them in 2013. I payed on time, every month, never late. Now in 2017, at the end of my Chapter 13 I'm told that my mortgage was not included in the Trustee payments and I was supposed to pay that separately; I never knew that. For almost 3 1/2 years I hadn't received any communications from CN stating I've missed payments and the annual tax statements I received from the bank showed interest paid as it should. Now the bank is selling my home in 60 days. My first bankruptcy was a disaster, the damage has been done and there is no way to hold the law firm accountable. I'm in shock and angry about how I was put in my current state of facing homelessness. I never in a million years would have believed I would ever end up here.

The following review is my completely objective opinion of this firm . Firstly , I would not recommend this firm to anyone; my attorney , Kurt Brickman ,displayed very little knowledge of the law. He would appear in court very unprepared and disorganized, he rarely returned phone calls , or emails , overall the frequency of communication was insufficient for a paid attorney or any attorney who is to "defend " their client . Secondly, Kurts' thinking is very rigid -when faced with factual information and relevant case law ; he would purposely elude what was relevant and seemingly take a stance against a viable defense . I once presented to him via email: relevant statutes , case law and defenses for my case and he never mentioned them in court. Lastly, unfortunately his representation speaks on behalf of the entire firm , "the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree" ; which leads me to believe that this type of representation has been adapted throughout this firm. My best advice is to learn the law to either represent yourself or to fact check your attorney. My attorney was a complete "misrepresentation" of his client .

He was very friendly and professional as well as extremely knowledgeable about both processes. His secretary, Beth, was very understanding and communicative throughout the whole process, keeping in touch with me and answering every question that I had in a very prompt manner.

Everyone I have met at Cravens & Noll is very professional. They have helped me with several cases and I have always been pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend them for any legal service.

This law firm in my opinion is not professional, they don't communicate with their clients, and in my case they make the situation worse. They lead me on for almost five months, having already been paid close to $1500 for their Representation. After month one I contacted them to get more information on the process moving forward with my case and they advised me that the attorney I hired had left the firm. They not once called me to advise me of this change! Then they told me that Mr. Cravens was going to be handling this case from that point forward; that was a lie. They handed my case over to Mr. Burn "JR" and he is the worst attorney I have ever had!! He never once communicated with me about my case I was being given legal advise from an assistant. I spoke to the Assistant a couple of times mainly had to physically go to the office to speak with them and secondly they never followed through with handling my case. Come month 4 I get an email stating they don' t want to pursue the case because I was relocating and I would receive my refund in 2 weeks. In my opinion they held my money for 5 Months with no work being done!! Going on week 3 and I still have not received my Money!!

Marc Boyko represented me throughout my entire divorce process and I am lucky enough today to still consider him my attorney. While hopefully I have moved on to only needing him for life's routine legal needs (wills, power of attorney, etc), I will be forever grateful for the wonderful representation I had throughout the two years we worked our way through my divorce. I obviously got to be familar with most of the Cravens & Noll employees at both the Arboretum and Innsbrook offices. Everyone there was incredible to me and worked so hard for the best resolution for my case as possible. She made sure we understood everything to the full extent & that made us very comfortable.
