Absolutely do not use this defense attorney!!! Beware!! Receptionist is rude, hung up in my face and when I called, told me to go find another attorney if I didn’t like her attitude!! Unbelievably poor customer service. I took time off work to go to this appointment, she said I didn’t call her back to confirm, she left me a message — so she cancelled my appointment. The lawyer said he would give me 10 minutes as a “courtesy” as I drove 30 minutes to see them...

Gutridge helped me to lose my custody case. She did not interview most of my witnesses, showed no interest to be challenged and to learn about special ed (which was huge in my case), she also refused to witness the IEP meeting, led witnesses to benefit the other party, not my child. She also failed to submit her discovery report on time and excluded some evidence that I provided her with. She told me that she charges by the minute when I emailed her with important documents.
She tried to visit my son on the day before court and talked to the key witness on the day of court, which was never passed by her to the Judge. Rude and careless

Couldn't even show up to court on time!!

M. Hyman told me to be at court 15 min early to discuss case, he showed up 30 min late for court so 45 min late total but not even showing up for 30 min so that opposing council asked me if he was even coming! And the judge sent out the bailiff 3 times to see if he had arrived.

Mr Collins represented my grandmother in court for a custody battle that we were battling with the father. He was very knowledgeable, competent, professional and polite. He also responded to my grandmother emails very promptly. He did an awesome job. My grandmother and myself were VERY pleased with the outcome.
