I contacted this firm a few weeks ago to be represented for social security. Spoke with a woman named alex or alice. She was very rude and spoke over me and didn’t give me much of a chance to speak. Constant interruptions is not professional or nice. I understand you may have a high volume of calls but she made me feel very unimportant and small... receptionist was sweet but the woman i was transferred to was complete opposite. People are calling your office for help and don’t deserve to be talked to that way. I would have like to have been treated fairly but this was not the case. They were not able to represent me and i can handle the rejection but the way she spoke to me left a bad taste and would not recommend to friends. It has bothered me since and felt this review had to be made. She is not a good look for this law firm who claims to help peopls

Would not take on a second appeal case for my wife after only a partial approval. Lady treated me well when first called, but was rude to my wife after calling back. Same woman then claimed that she knew nothing of our case when I called back to find out what was going on.

Disappointed. I spoke to Karla and I guess I was expecting a little more professionalism and empathy, considering the kind of cases the office handles. She seemed almost irritated. Her tone was a turn off. She was very short with me. During our brief call, while answering her questions, I told her I have a work injury & see my assigned doctor once a month, plus any other treatments needed. She wanted to know how often I see my primary care doctor and when I stated, "my "normal" primary care doctor only treats me for certain things and they will not treat work injuries that are still included in open claims, so I do not see her as often" She interrupted me and stated, that is why my claim was denied because I don't get enough treatment. After a 3 minute talk and very basic questions, how could you make that statement to someone you still know sooo very little about? Maybe this office is not familiar with how work comp. injuries are handled, but to say the least, I was shocked. I feel Karla needs to work on her tone, empathy and listening skills.

These people are awful. Very unprofessional. Sara Greer is the person that I had contact with. My first phone call did not happen. The receptionist made an excuse that she was having problems with her calendar, another phone call was scheduled and I did have a phone call with Sara Greer and she sent me a form to be filled out by my doctor. I made an appointment with my doctor to have the form filled out which I had to pay a co pay to have my doctor fill out the form. I returned the form back in to the office and then I received a letter from the office saying that they could not represent me. No explanation. I called the office to ask why and ask if I could speak with the attorney. I did not receive a response. I just wanted to know why they were not able to take my case so I could make changes.

Imho. Nicholas is HORRIBLE at communication and leaves you in the dark about what's going on. Says everything is part of the plan but never tells you his plan for YOUR CASE. Maybe a different lawyer at this firm will do you some good but I wouldn't recommend him.

I filed for Social Security Disability on my own and was denied within 4 months. I called Smolich and Smolich and was promptly scheduled an appointment with Roopen. Roopen was very kind and understanding of the Social Security Disability process. He explained what would happen and the time lines that I had to look forward to. They filed my appeal and within months I WAS APPROVED!! I know I would still be in the long drawn out process today if it wasn't for them. Waste of my time. The receptionist asked me a few Questions said she would pass on the info to Attorney's and get back to me. I have four different issues that make me permanently Disabled have a work related injury that caused me to be out of work permanently even got a fat settlment. Now a week later I get a letter saying they don't want the case? It's a easy case with three years of back pay I guess they want 10 years back pay to get a bigger cut or something . Total waste of my time. A Attorney never even talked to me. T.V. add is the only reason I called them. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THEM.

First I have to say I never write feed back for anybody. but I have to give credit when credit is due, I was hurt in 2012 I was 35 so I was a young claimant. my Dad was represented by Rob Smolich 25 years ago and I really wanted Rob , but Roopen ended up Taking my Case I was really nervous to be honest cause my Dad always told me how good Rob was, and Brittany told me Roopen was a great lawyer . But I was still nervous until I went before the Disability Judge . who said at my hearing that I had a really great lawyer and he's one of the best lawyers and he went on and on how great Roopen was , and right there and then I knew everything was going to be alright. When my husband and I first met with my attorney Mr. Roopen Parekh regarding filing for Social Security Disability he was straight forward with us while going through the packets I completed from them. He was very abrupt and honest on how it could go. At one point I was ready to just walk out however listening to Mr. Parekh explain how the system works and the avenues to take we went ahead and filed.
