Should be zero stars but it is not an option. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I called and spoke with someone over the phone and after a few questions the gentleman informed me that I qualified for representation and that I would receive a call within a few days because nobody would answer their phone at the time. They DID NOT call me back as they guaranteed me. Then THREE WEEKS LATER I received a letter in the mail saying they CAN NOT represent me. Again their company going back on their word. Personally this is a horrible way to do business if you would want to be a reputable company and receive recommendations. They were the only office I called and I was waiting for them. I would never recommend this company if you are looking for help and guidance. I have never been in a car accident before so I did not know how to go about things and they did not help me at all. LASTLY the letter informed me that I should look for other representation and quickly because my claim can be denied due to me taking too long.... yet I had not taken action because I was waiting for their company to contact me and tell me the next steps. Lack of communication and horrible customer service.

They were Ok just Ok... they did not get us the amount of money they other attorney's got people and I feel they could have done overall they were just ok...

From the beginning, I was hesitant about even having to find an attorney. I never thought I'd have to file a lawsuit against anyone. But I found Eric on YouTube while I was looking up information about my condition and found he was very knowledgable about it. He knew so much about my condition and understood that it was caused by a doctor's negligence, which led into a progressive and irreversible medical condition. I was neglected by the doctor and his entire team until it was too late. I had to have a second life-saving surgery. From there, the damage caused by his neglect was permanent. But Eric fought for me for a year and a half. He was very good about communicating with me and even gave me his cell phone number. He always called me back and always answered my emails within an hour - it didn't matter where he was. He could be in another state, but he always called me back promptly. I always thought I had a small case and was unimportant, but he didn't treat me that way. In the end I was able to avoid the embarrassment of court and he settled my case for far more than I ever expected. Although I hope I never have to ever be involved in another lawsuit, I would definitely use him again without hesitation if I ever had to.

Wild fire? Rapidly bearing down on us..... Wind had shifted. It was coming right at us.. A person cannot even imagine.
Denial had set in early in the day: Nah, its not coming here. It was traveling across our horizon. Saw no news stories....heard even less.

We will be fine. Until we weren't. As the wind picked up, and I timed how long it took to drop into a ravine and rise again...TEN MINUTES???
My husband and I looked at one another, our eyes locking onto one anothers. We realized we had TEN MINUTES. It was on the last ravine we could see from our property. looked like a mile from town. We lived on the other side of town. one mile.

I grabbed an overnite bag.... the dog. WE got out with two vehicles.

In 24 hours we learned that our 20 acres of forest was gone. Our beautiful retirement home and everything in it gone. Our Shop/Garage up the hill with four vehicles, tools, Quad, Hammerhead 4x4, likewise perished......
I know that we were numb for a month. Our children and grandchildren barely left our side. Little by little I gathered my wits as I saw my beautiful family watching me with that 'deer in the headlights' expression. So, I reminded myself that I needed to show them what I was made of. What they were made of as well....I immediately started looking into WHAT do we do now?? It was overwhelming. Hid the frustration pain and my own 'deer in the headlights' expression and got to work....

Fast forward to learning that the fire was started by PG&E who also accepted the responsibility.... I signed up to talk with an attorney. WE had excellent Insurance and we figured we were covered. We were. for the House, contents, Garage, contents....vehicles.
When we spoke with Eric Ratinoff he explained the costs of clearing our land. Replacing our tree's, fences, asphalt, etc. was NOT covered by our Insurance.
Mr. Ratinoff and his staff are professional to the point that you dont feel like your dealing with strangers. They came to our trailer and spent a couple of hours talking....
They explained what our options were and as I delved further into the cost of what needed to be done to our destroyed property we soon realized that we would either have to live on a moonscape or get it cleaned. We then asked Mr. Ratinoff to represent us to recoup our losses from PG&E.
I personally researched fence builders, asphalt contractors, tree removal companies...and added up their quotes and gave that figure to Mr. Ratinoff.
When the time came for Mediation with PG&E Mr. Ratinoff made sure we were comfortable. He explained PG&E's position on our claim and the end result is that we were compensated for our losses.
At this point we are still cleaning up debris, still have much burning to do....Cannot put up our fence again as the neighbors still havent cut all of their trees down yet. The tree's not cut are falling wherever gravity takes them.....even though I had my 20 acres ringed by a tractor those huge 75' trees would crush a new fence.........
Next month it will be four years. We've planted about 100 tree's, rebuilt our home and shop. 90% of the tree's are cut and piled, waiting to be burned...
