He's a terrible attorney ,he forgot to send me very important paper work ,he sent me (WHO's disabled) out to track down paperwork , he was supposed to get me ready for my hearing and was double booked at the time of my appointment ,he was also supposed to be there for my hearing but instead sent his wife I feel that they brushed me off for the bigger check also the judge seems to think that they are shady but by all means give them a try if you want them to quit on you when it gets tough I do not recommend them to you or the next person you can get it done quickly on your own just like I did have a great day and hope you find someone to help I'm choosing to do it on my own

Although the process was long, Milan Law Staff kept me up to date and focused on the process. Collected records needed and met with me personally to prepare for the hearing. Couldnt have asked for anything better.

I still cant believe it. After all my times trying to get disability over the years, I FINALLY got it because of them!! Mr. Miliam I really liked. He was down to earth, very knowledgeable and very likeable, knew what he was doing, and expedited my case! I saw him in December of 18, and was surprised he took my case. Different attorneys turned me down, so I was feeling really deflated. He said I had a very good case, and understood from personal experience my different diagnosis. The staff were always helpful if I called and had questions. Got my denial letter maybe a couple months after I saw him, but they took care of that. And the next letter I got was saying I had a hearing September 11th! He wasnt kidding when he said he'll expedite it. His wife represented me, I really liked her too. She was also a down to earth and likeable person, made me feel comfortable before my hearing. Got the letter in maybe 2-3weeks later (judges say it can take up to 6 months for a decision so results may vary) and it was fully favorable! Everything moved very quickly which is amazing!! I cant thank Mr. Miliam, his wife and staff enough for their hard work! Thank you!!! I would give you 20 stars if I could!

This place is a joke, they really dont care, are insensative and incompetente. Jeff had his wife represent me in my hearing, I had to wait forever and she had been there in the office the whole time w/her daughter, she also had the judge wait on her to review my case. But all she did was put more make up on, said I have to look professional. She was not familiar with my case and did not represent me, the judge was so irritated with her. All I can say is do your research and definitely steer clear os this s*** hole!

I hired Jeffrey after SS denied my SSDI application twice. It took 1 1/2 years for my case to go to a judge after I hired him due to Social Security backlogs, but my case was approved. Jeffrey was confident it would be and not only was I approved, I was given disability back to the month I could no longer work, 3 months earlier than i had anticipated. I recommend that you get whatever documents ASAP that Jeffrey asks for as it will help you when in front of the judge even if it means going to another dr. other than Kaiser. His staff is very helpful, I found Chanve (Not sure of her name's spelling) delightful and very professional.

I would recommend him to anyone who has a legitimate case that was denied or better yet, go to him immediately. SS did not listen to me until I hired Jeffrey Milam despite my debiltating, extensive permanent medical conditions. SS pretty much denies you and hope you do not hire an attorney or appeal.

Jeffrey presented my case to the judge and made sure he understood that I was not able to work, soundly refuting the SS hired "expert" witness who had no knowledge of my daily job duties. She had said I could perform them because SS hired her to say I could. When he questioned her, she had to admit she did not know the details of what the job required, as she was only going off a paper manual quoting the duties

I placed a review on yelp. It is more explained. I knew Mr. Milam before he got married to his wife. He had my case for 8 years. It is up to the judge that that takes your case. I had to jump through all the Federal Law hoops because my case was denied .Then Mr Milam suggested to take it to the the Supreme Court. My case was won there. Mr Milam and his wife fought for me. I would recommend Mr. Milam Law firm for their expertise and knowledge they have with Social Security. Never give up!
