If you value your time and money, STAY AWAY. I made a big mistake reading positive reviews and hiring mr Steve Whitworth.  first appointment was great. Lots of promises and as soon as you make that deposit and he wants you to pay the whole sum right away, you are out of luck. Communication is NON EXISTENT, you will chase and beg him for an updates about your case and in the best case scenario you will receive a text “ ALL IS WELL.” The most important thing in a lawyer is COMMUNICATION with the client, which is non existent with this lawyer, if you are looking for more stress and loose a lot of money, then go ahead, my recommendation is to find a different lawyer.

I do NOT recommend him. The initial meeting was good but that was just to get your business. Once you have paid the $8,000 dollars for the retainer he doesn't follow up with you about the case. Things he promised he doesn't follow through with, contact becomes limited and you end up dealing with his paralegal assistant. He said I could put money into a trust and he would load money on my prison canteen account. Went 4 months with no money and no reply to my 3 letters. Had to get the State Bar involved in order to get him ( his paralegal) to respond and resume putting money on my books. Hell I should have just went with the public defender and saved $$$. They could have done the same plea deal.

Well-informed, and was provided with a great council. I felt very comfortable and knew I was in good hands from the very start.
I would recommend this law firm to anyone.

After having done some research, I have decided to give this law firm a shot, and I'm so happy I did the right choice. It is very important to have the right people to defend you in court. My life could have been ruined with the DUI I received but thankfully I was referred to the Law Office of Steve Whitworth. I was pulled over and was accused of being drunk while driving home from the office. Mr. Whitworth helped me out, and he made the entire case was just up in the air because they had no real proof of me being under the influence. I'm so happy that Steve took all the stresses out of my tough situation and helped me go through it. I don't ever wish you need their services, but if you do, you will be in good hand with them!

Amazing attorney

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Promises me he would take care of a case out of town and failed to show up, sent me an email stating he could not be at the court date at 8pm the night before so basically no notice at all, then 2 days before my next court date he sends me an email saying he's dropping me as a client and will not be showing up, I have already went to families out of town for thanksgiving holiday and he doesn't have the decency to even let me know my court dates til it's too late!
I paid this guy way more money than other attorneys wanted because he made it sound like he would take care of everything for me, now I have a bench warrant after giving him THOUSANDS!
