I had a very bad experience with this dishonest attorney. After seeing his advertised free consultation, I went to him for a personal case. And after some discussion I paid him a deposit of $1,425. However, I changed my mind the following morning about going to court and called his office to request a refund of the retainer minus the time that we spent discussing the case. He did not return my call, even after calling his office multiple times over several weeks, and he never returned the balance of my deposit.
He answered this review saying that I was indicted for fraud. In reality, the charges against me were dismissed by the court . He is showing his dishonesty again with his response. The only thing he did for me is the 2 hours he spent with me and then he billed me for 2 hours, even though he advertised a free consultation for the first hour. He never drafted any document and did not show that he did any work for me, and then refused to return the balance of the retainer, minus the fee of paid consultation. I have filed a complaint with the State Bar of Texas, and this matter is currently under investigation.

Not only did they inform me of court dates on short notice, they gave me incorrect info.
On my last court date Mr. Vargas did not show up. On my next court date he informed the judge he was dropping out of the case without informing me. Very unprofessional. If you're looking for an attorney you can count on at a critical time in your life, do not go with this Law firm.
