If you want an attorney who is going to coddle you and set overly optimistic expectations with regard to what to expect when your day of reckoning in front of a Judge arrives you should engage someone else. However if you want a consummate legal professional who has a very firm grasp of the often grim realities of today's justice system and who will set your expectations accordingly, then David Golden must be your first and only choice.

There were times when I got the sense he wasn't fully on board with me and my view about what I was faced with. However, as it turns out, that simply wasn't the case. You see, we tend to believe everything we see on television and read in the newspapers. David, on the other hand, is firmly rooted in reality. He utilizes his many years working with prosecuting attorneys as best he can to the advantage of his client. He knows most, if not all, of the people he will have to ultimately have to deal with extremely well. And, more importantly, understands how the system works and what your chances are likely to be given your unique circumstances.

There's an old adage 'one should always under promise and over deliver' that's stood the test of time. I am sure its David's credo. In my case, he most certainly over delivered.

Doesn’t take his clients serious ... takes your money and won’t return phone calls or email . Shady and will leave you filled with worry when you take a bank loan out to pay him and doesn’t get back to you especially when court is days away. How can I sleep at night when I don’t know what are the possibilities or outcome
Of my upcoming court date ? Not cool. Why take someone’s money and not even know if you will show up to my upcoming court date????

Mr. Golden is by far one of the best Criminal Defense attorneys I have dealt with. I am familiar with the Judicial System in the state of Connecticut. You don't come across Criminal Defense attorneys that want to do the best thing by their client as well as charging the minimum amount of fees. Already knowing how this process all works I made my boyfriend look around until we felt comfortable with the right person.
