Dorsten is a excellent attorney I used him numerous times very nice guy great in the courtroom. Helped me out every time. Helped my wife out as well. I’ve also recommended countless other people the ones who made the right decision to commit to the services they all told me mr dorsten helped them out big time when they thought the outcome could only be super bad. The one’s who didn’t commit to the services the outcome ended horribly. So you can not go wrong with mr dorsten. Great firm to do business with.

My name is Pedro and i recently retained rex as my lawyer in what was now my 3rd dui case. He was honest and did not sugarcoat my situation. He told me it was a tough case from the beginning, especially in pinellas county, but he assured me that he would fight and get the best deal for me. This was my 3rd DUI, marijuana(4 grams),Refusal to submit. Dmv automatically takes your license for a year if u refuse but Since it was my 2nd refusal they automatically take it away for 18 months. However, rex went to the dmv hearing and miraculously won it so they issued my license right back. This was the moment i knew rex was fighting for me and i was in good hands. I didnt even know there was a possibilty to get your license back once you refuse a breathalizer. The dmv and court are seperate so there was still the matter of DUI charge, possession of marijuana( 4grams), and refusal to submit (2nd refusal is considered a misdemeanor). The prosecutor wanted nothing less than jail time, 90 days to be exact. Furthermore she also wanted probation, community service, dui school and everything else that comes along with a dui charge. Rex negotiated a deal in which i would get the bare minimum that comes along with 2nd dui. No jail, got my marijuana charge and refusal to submit down to a fine, saved me 1000 bucks because he ran those fines concurrent with dui fine. 1 year misdemeanor probation with early term after 6 months, 50 hrs community service which i could work to pay my fines. Alcohol ankle monitor for 30 days. Sorry for the long review but i feel like there is so much more i want to say. Ill leave you with this short story. On my court date im standing up by the podium as the state prosecutor and my lawyer are going over the terms of my plea with the judge. Finally its coming to an end when the prosecutor says " the defendant aill also serve 60 days in jail." My lawyer quickly said, " your honor that was not part of the deal and my defendant will not accept jail time." The prosecutor then lowers it to 30 days jail and my lawyer once again says that its not acceptable. They hudled around and the prosecutor says, " im giving you a one time, one day deal and it expires the minute you walk out of this courtroom." Ankle monitor for 30 days!! The moral of that story is that he fights for you and since most of the time clients dont get to see those tough negotiations with prosecutors behind closed doors, i witnessed his commitment and willingness to fight first hand. I would recommend rex to anyone seeking strong legal representation. Im not really a "write a review" type of guy nor did i look at lawyers as the most honest people but my experience with rex showed me a different perspective. Still not big fan of writing reviews. Big thanks to rex and crew!

I hired Nicholas Dorsten for the first time in 2012 I was arrested for sales and possession cocaine and sales and possession of Xanax I thought for sure I was going to do time in jail or prison since I was accused of selling to a undercover five months later Mr. Dorsten notified me that all charges have been dropped in 2013 I was in a rear end accident I called Mr. Dorsten and he set up doctors appointments for me and made sure that I was being taken care of and my needs are being met through the insurance company in 2015 my brother was arrested for two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder I was originally hoping just to save his life and make sure he didn’t receive the death penalty my brother was sentenced in October 2018 and he will be released one day he didn’t get a death penalty nor did he get a life sentence in 2016 I was arrested for battery two weeks after my rest Mr. Dorsten got my charges dropped in 2017 I had two speeding tickets Mr. Dorsten also got the speeding tickets dismissed Nicholas Dorsten has exceeded my expectations on every case he has Handled for me I never could’ve imagined that one day I will be picking my brother up from prison and he will be free after what he did but I will Mr. Dorsten has went above and beyond what any lawyer would have done.

Nick Dorsten is a joke for an attorney. I witnessed his performance in court and he did nothing for his client. If you need legal counsel, go elsewhere

My daughter was a victim of domestic violence, aggravated stalking and so much more. After dealing with the courts for over a year we finally thought it was over when he went to jail. Well after almost 7 months later a knock on our door and two cops proceeded to arrest my daughter for two felonies that his mother accused my daughter of. I had no idea what to do. I live on the other side of the state from where my daughter was brought to. Out of desperation I found Nick Dorsten from looking at lawyers and not knowing what to do. I emailed him and he called me within minutes. This man went above and beyond to help my daughter, who never should have been in jail. If I ever need a lawyer again I would go to him in a heartbeat (but I really hope I don't!! Lol ) He works hard, works with you, cares about his clients and their families.

Review from Property Management witnessed his performance in court, again Owner tries to discredit. Owner can't handle the truth... Dorsten SUCKS.

Corrupt firm. Nick Dorsten couldn't handle state employment with the Pinellas County prosecutor's office. He is a corrupt lawyer whose forged signature and issuance of forged documents. Mishandling of case work, intentional negligence, breach of client / attorney confidentiality and privilege under contract, and other felonies and crimes.

Nick was more then helpful with my trafficking case. On top of his reasonable payment plan, He and his secretary were always on time and responsive. He was not quick to jump the gun, and after taking our time to receive the best outcome, I received a deal that I was comfortable with, and he is helping me to early terminate as well. I highly recommend him for representation.

Rex Blake is the MAN. Was facing some pretty bad circumstances due to a run in with PCSO.2 different charges both not on my record thanks to Rex Blake. Highly professional! Great at first and will go above and beyond by seeing them for free,giving advise,& getting you to sign the contract. He contacted me due to my review but we will go our separate ways and he could of earned a customer for life instead he has did his job for 2500.00 but next time ill pay the 3500.00 for my personal lawyer. First would have to say, Nicholas was one of the most professional person ive met. I pick him because of the reviews ive read on google. They was ture. Any time i called his office, I was able to talk to some one, most of the time he was first to answer the phone. All my questions was answered, right away.
When I got my free counseling could beleave the fee he needed very low. So I hird him to represent me. He came up with a good plan, we followed and i walked away with a small fine.
