I hired Carolyn to provide advice and execute some legal documents (power of attorney, trust, living will, etc.) on behalf of my elderly parents and disabled brother. This was my first experience working with an attorney so I didn't know what to expect. In the end I needed someone I could trust, who would be patient in walking me through options, and would be easy to communicate with since I live out of state.

In total I worked with Carolyn over a five month period and she was outstanding. If I had to do it over I would hire her again. I most appreciated her honest and direct manner. She's extremely knowledgeable and when I had questions (and I had many!) she got right to the point on options, pros / cons, and recommendations. There wasn't any wasted motion. When we made decisions she explained what she would do, then she did it. There were never any surprises and the process always felt very efficient. She was also very responsive when I reached out to her via phone or email.

I don't have any negative remarks. If you're looking for a solid elder attorney I strongly recommend that you have a conversation with Carolyn.

She and my son set up a consult reguarding my husband's long term care we met with her she answered my questions but then handed us a bill for 350$ however neither my self nor my son were advised that there would be fee or how much it would be it was my understanding it was a consult as to if her legal services were required they were not.
however a fair price for consult should have been discussed and agreed to . my son came from CO. She did offer her legal services but the price was far too much .so I'm not happy with her at all she did have knowledge was there was not transparencyim very disappointed

I cold called her office on a recommendation. She did not have to take my call but Carolyn did. She gave me her time, she was kind and offered some suggestions. She did not even know if i would retain her yet she was courteous, gave me her time and help. Her disposition was reassuring, informative and pleasant. She did not seem to be solely interested in you as a dollar sign but rather truly impressed me with her desire to be of assistance. Just on the way she received me, I will be doing business with this firm. If you are seeking a person that presents herself with your interest at heart, this is the way I was treated and on that I whole-heartedly recommend you giving her a try.
