Matt is my 3rd attorney. I had supposedly "the best" in the area with two others. All the others cared about was taking my money and not even representing me and defending me correctly.

I would not recommend them. I paid for a consultation to get advice prior to selling my home and because of being given vague information and incorrect information I put my home up for sale and have now had to hire another firm to handle issues because I don’t trust anything they say.

Awful firm. They are impossible to get ahold of while working cases, and the secretary is plain rude. Would NOT recommend using them.

Horrible & rude, Joyce in Real Estate Dept. gave the worst service ever, yelled at me, constant voice mails, don't return calls, the staff has changed several times, this business is a joke

This firm handled the closing of a cash property purchase we made in January 2019. Weeks and days prior to closing we received no communication from carter and foreman pertaining to closing and wiring instructions. On the day of closing we still received no communication. Our realtor was relentless in trying to contact carter and foreman days and weeks leading up to closing, including on the day we were contracted to close on, and they simply wouldn’t get back to my realtor! I took the whole day off because they wouldn’t give us a closing time, so I ended up missing a day of work and not even being able to close. There were no apologies or acknowledgement of this being an issue from carter and foreman, and it was swept under the carpet like it never happened. Closing was then rescheduled, after much runaround and lack of responsiveness or sense of urgency. On the now rescheduled day of closing, we still didn’t receive any wiring instructions or communication. Then the firm suddenly sent us an email Shortly before closing, saying they hadn’t received funds from us yet, and that we couldn’t close until we wired funds. In my experience I sign documents and wire funds simultaneously, not send funds and hope they actually decide to close that day. They would not even provide us with an unexecuted copy of the deed of trust, or any assurance of how our funds would be handled, until we wired the funds and they confirmed the wire transfer. There were no apologies offered, no sense of accountability, and 3 months later we still have not received a recorded deed of trust or title policy from them. I’ve never dealt with anything like this company, and would strongly encourage anyone to refrain from using them. They were unprofessional, unreliable, and lacked any sense of personal accountability or urgency. Do not trust this firm with your matters or money. Hopefully I actually get my recorded deed and title policy one day.

I use Carter Foreman for all of my clients real estate transactions, as well as any personal real estate transactions, and any legal referrals. Their staff is always courteous, professional, and prompt. They execute every closing seamlessly and timely. If you're looking for a wonderful and warm legal office with excellent attorneys and staff, this is it!

Worst service every! Paid $3,000 for a divorce which i got but never followed up about getting my child support garnished... horrible about returning emails and calls. Would not recommend
