They overlooked a substantial lien on a property I purchased and closed through them. They have not returned calls very upset in Palatka

To anyone who is reading my review. I want you to know that I was in a situation that was unfamiliar to me. The Douglas law firm as soon as I called them showed me that they cared. From the receptionist where I heard a smile over the phone to the conversation I had with a paralegal named Ashley. They put me at ease. After evaluating my situation they then put me with the lawyer that best suited my needs. The lawyer they recommended to me was Lynn Campbell. From my first phone call to our meeting I already felt very confident in my case. Miss Campbell not very large in stature makes up for that in her enormous compassion and understanding. Miss Campbell also has a canny understanding of human behavior.
Lynn put together such a great defense my accuser had to back down and from what I understand was given all their money back from their retainer from their lawyer because there was no case.
I guess like in any case it's a roller coaster ride there are ups and downs, highs and lows, good days and bad days but my team never allowed me to think anything more then be focused stay the course and be calm.

Asking for help with my will and the attorney did not know what cost. He looked up at the ceiling and said "What are we charging now a days for Wills, oh yeah......$750.00". I was shocked.
Not only did he try to make a fool of me, he was inflating the cost of filing a will.
I'm a senior citizen and on a fixed income. They should be a firm somewhere that is willing to help persons like me and you.
I felt like I was being robbed!

My two experiences with the law firm were both professional and with results. The first was a client I had and referred them to the law firm. The second was a issue that My organization needed to resolve. I have hired one of their attorneys on two separate occasions and would hire him again if the need were to arise. Whenever I have had questions or concerns, my attorney always spoke with me directly and kept me informed of any/all communication. His paralegal (Stacy) is also fantastic. Another attorney in the firm, Catherine also assisted in my case. My overall experience with this firm has been wonderful...from the attorneys, paralegal, billing department, etc. I highly recommend them now and have recommended them in the past. I'm definitely partial to one particular attorney, Chris LoBianco...not only is he a great attorney, he's a great person and quite funny too...really cares about his clients. There aren't many attorneys or firms like Mr. LoBianco and Douglas & Hedstrom anymore.

I felt the service I got was horrible. I suffer from a head injury which causes many mental issues. I have epilepsy and traumatic brain disorder and yet she never mentioned my disorder once.
I would never recommend her to anyone.

Worst advocates. I had a parenting plan case and it carried on for almost a year! My attorney associated with the other party's lawyer and wanted to accommodate with their wishes. Everytime I met up with their firm, I had to argue with them to fight for what belonged to my children which was to not lower child support, not let the other party claim child tax, and also to give the father more parenting time. Once I had gave in, I found out that I didn't have to agree to lower child support because dept of revenue has jurisdiction and I rightfully should claim both children due to the fact under IRS laws: both children live with me more than 50% of the year. Yet I signed because my lawyer kept telling me if I didn't agree, I would have to owe child support because I made too much money. Did I mention they let the other attorney let out his emotions towards me and blamed me for carrying on the parenting plan for so long? When my children are involved, don't beat up a mom trying to do right by them. At the consultation, they were ready to fight but after I paid the 5k there was no belief that I was a hard working mother for two children. I hope this helps.
