Long time client of the firm. Very satisfied with their knowledge of the law, advocacy and communication as issues progress. Thorough preparation from understanding the issue through trial (if necessary) and beyond. If you are seeking effective, respectful representation in any legal (personal or business) matter, the Ezell Law Firm should be on your call list.

I went to a referral site and was matched up with this law firm. First we were told that our power of attorney that we do have is invalid. This was on Friday. They tried to convince us to come out of pocket almost $3,000 for retainer cost and also for filing fees to file for curatorship. I was given a call today Thursday, a week later, law firm saying that as long as the power of attorney does not have a certain wording in it it actually is a durable power of attorney and that we could have fixed our issues a week ago. The law firm actually really didn't read the power of attorney and they have no idea whether or not we have a valid power of attorney because they were too busy telling us how much money we did need to spend through them to get a curatorship that we didn't need. Now we have to go to a another law firm to find out if I have power of attorney is actually valid or not. The attorney we spoke to was a very young guy and he continuously, like a car salesman, had to go in his authority figure in the office to see if he was doing the right thing or not. Clearly this law firm is being managed by someone else and they just have minions doing the work.

In addition after reading your statements: My visit was not free. My visit cost $50 through the arranged meeting through a referral site. They have already spoke with me and said because y'all participate in this referral site, y'all receive a portion of that money. That means that I did not get a free visit. Do not whitewash the situation. This situation was real easy to have eliminated all issues if you would have just read the documents we brought. But instead you wasted my time, you wasted my energy and you wasted my money. Responding after months of this being on your Google link, then tried to downplay the situation. Y'all couldn't even tell me if my documents were legal. Then when I called back to ask again because you said for me to call back, you still couldn't tell me if it was legal and told me I had to read it myself. Please tell me how a law firm is a fully functional law firm if y'all can't even read a power of attorney and tell me if it's legal. This is a sham law firm that is only trying to take money from people that are using this law firm through a referral service. Trying to take advantage of people who care for the elderly people is going to come back to haunt you. Now please continue to tell me that you can't talk about legal issues dealing with my case but then blast it all over your Google page. We've had it examined by a real lawyer it took five minutes to figure out whether or not this was a legal power of attorney or not. Amazingly it only took 10 minutes to solve all of my legal issues and cost me less than $100 by going to real lawyer. So as I have stated throughout this review, find a real lawyer not this law firm.
