By his own statement Mr. Calmes did not argue for a reduction on the merits of my son's case, he simply requested the reduction and waited for the DA to make up their minds. Other attorneys tell me this is very unusual and Mr. Calmes has a history of being very devoted to the best service for his clients. I can only say that in this case it appeared to us that only the absolute minimum was done, and then only after an unreasonable number of inquiries and requests from us. If Mr. Calmes did any more than that on this case, he did not inform us about it.
