My history with Attorney Bauer dates back to his days as the only Board Certified Assistant State Attorney in the 2nd Judicial Circuit. He was assigned to another county and I was wrongfully charged with a very serious crime. My family and I went through the worst moments of our lives. Attorney Bauer did realize his mistake and that of an entire sheriff's department and dismissed the charges. He is an honorable man. He actually fought to have the actual rest sealed but it was public information and one cant un-ring a bell. I have recommended Attorney Bauer many times over the years. He is a family man and a top performer except before one particular judge who still gives him fits. ( Written with a smile) The false arrest has harmed more than I. It has prevented me from becoming a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for example. This is a much needed effort and I am uniquely suited for this type of endeavor.
