Coincidentally, before retaining them, I happened to be in their office building, on other business, and Michael happened to be available to speak with. I had been rear ended on the 5 interstate, that led to a severely herniated disc in my back, and then back surgery. The 20 year old college student, that hit me, was incredibly underinsured for the injuries I sustained. She had zero assets and no job... Nothing to go after for complete restitution. In November 2015 I was in a car accident. My vehicle was a total loss, and I incurred moderate injuries, fortunately nothing debilitating. With the other party accepting 100% liability, I figured I could settle the case on my own without hiring a lawyer (with a 2 year deadline to settle, I determined I had plenty of time to reach a reasonable settlement).
