I hired Chris to take my “Legal Malpractice Civil Case.” In the beginning He’s evaluated my case to being worth a lot of money to be won hands down based on HIS evaluation of my case. Idk what happened to him approximately 5 months into my case as he started to change & became very sneaky and tricky. He’s “MISREPRESENTED” me so many times during the 2 years that I finally had to FIRE him right before trial. He’s tried many times to change the word “MISREPRESENTED” around by saying “MISCALCULATED,” then says it’s not a big deal $$$$??? It’s not a small “MISCALCULATION” of “Legal Malpractice” that he’s committed neither. I mean were talking about hundreds and thousands of dollars that he’s initially evaluated down to “oh after research you can only get $11k”??? He’s billed me for work that he’s never even done and also lied to me about it. Then when I question him here’s his favorite line, “ In Light of this, I need you to sign a substitution of attorney form ASAP.” I also paid him for a very important exparte hearing and gets that granted BUT then doesn’t show up for the actual motion as neither does the Defendants Lawyers, as this doesn’t make sense at all? So of course a NO SHOW from Attorneys gets denied. BUT when I see the actual court minute order online and confront him he lied many times; says he still didn’t file it when it was right in front of his face confronting him in an email attachment, then says he was going to file it but the judge told him that if he filed it it’ll get denied????? WOW!!!! He’s tried to settle my case for $5k without my consent. He’s ruined my case. Of course I FIRED him. He’s the worst!

When I went to Chris he suggested I offer the money to the defendant to settle out of litigation. Now that's an honest lawyer. However when this didn't help, I retained Chris. he worked very hard on a difficult case. Chris kept me informed along the way not easy understanding court terms I highly recommend Chris Thank you

I was in need of an attorney while evicting two tenants I subleased a room to who were stiffing me on three months of rent.

Note that I didn't care about suing anyone or carrying on a court battle. All I wanted was these tenants who refused to pay rent out of my life.

Attorneys are expensive, and the whole situation drained all my resources. After speaking to other attorneys in my area who wanted outrageous amounts of money, Chris Ridgeway agreed to meet with me and consult my case.

After explaining him the situation Chris Ridgeway decided to take my case knowing that I was broke and didn't make a lot of money. I gave Chris the last $500 I had in my pocket as a retainer and he agreed to make a monthly payment plan with me as it was all I could afford. We decided on a cap of $5000 for the case with $500 monthly payments.

The case became more complicated as the tenants had counter sued me for a wrongful eviction and served me discoveries. These tenants also decided to sue my brother because he was present while I served them eviction paperwork. Chris also fought my brother's side of the case as it was ridiculous that my brother was even being sued at all.

Chris Ridgeway knew it was a frivolous case the other party was counter suing me for, it could get messy, be a lot of work and the tenants already had 3 or 4 prior evictions on their public records!

Fast forward almost 1 year later of Chris Ridgeway working hard on my case and the tenants countersuing me are now dropping the case as their attorneys were ditching them as they knew they couldn't win a frivolous case. I'm sure they made a grave mistake encountering my old tenants who stopped paying their rent.

Chris Ridgeway helped me in my time of need, he genuinely wanted to help me as a person, he understood my situation, and didn't look at me or treat me like a piggy bank. He is like the Robin Hood in the lawyer world. Not only is he an amazing attorney but proved to be a great man who I hold the upmost respect for. He saved my life. I couldn't speak anymore highly of him and would definitely recommend him to anyone.
