We contracted with Michael Juarez, an attorney at this firm and have been beyond happy with his work. My boyfriend was terrified of family court in San Diego after hearing numerous stories from other fathers about their rights being ignored. After he met with Mr. Juarez, all of his fears were laid to rest. We had tried for two years to get a child support modification done, each time buried by an unscrupulous child support worker, who knows the children's mom. We also tried numerous times to get a new child support worker. Again, two years of struggles that got no where. Within days of hiring Mr. Juarez, he made a phone call to the worker in question and voila, child support lowered and the worker reclused herself from the case. Suddenly, my boyfriend had an honest, fair child support case worker and a reasonable child support amount. He also drafted and got signed into a court order, visitation for my boyfriend that makes it so his ex could no longer use the kids as pawns for cash (not reported to child support). Mr. Juarez was paid a beyond reasonable price for his work. He was beyond patient with us and our questions as deciding what would be best for the kids, and sadly had put in time going back & forth with the kids' mom to get her to agree to the visitation stipulation. He did have to be the pit bull as it were and explain the illegalities of her actions to her and consequences if she wanted to continue ignoring my boyfriend's rights as a father. He truly is an advocate for the kids and father's rights. We would & will highly recommend this firm to anyone needing someone in their corner, who will get the job done. We feel truly blessed that we got the right man & firm for the job. Mr. Juarez is diligent and will not back down. Which unfortunately, sometimes you need when dealing with people who forget the kids have a right to see/talk to their father. Again, if you are unsure if you need legal counsel, just go meet with him and find out where you stand. The staff at this firm are very compassionate and friendly anytime you call with a question. My boyfriend's dad went to the initial consultation with my boyfriend to be another judge if we'd go with this firm (He had been hosed in a divorce years ago), he was also so impressed with Mr. Juarez's thoroughness, professionalism & knowledge - and "not back down" personality that he plans on retaining him for his upcoming divorce. Seriously, we cannot say enough great things about Mr. Juarez or this firm.
