NOT A FAKE POST! Please people do not hire this person! She is over priced and does not work for you. I hired her and all she wanted was more money and she did not do any of the work. I had to correct allot of her mistakes in court and I lost my case because she was careless and money hungry. This is not a fake post. And yes I hired Ms. Bretzky back in 2011. Just because you can’t remember your clients doesn’t mean you did not do the things I said you did. Yes this is a true story and got robbed out of $3,500 and only 2 court hearings that she showed up for. The third I went on my own because she wanted more money and I didn’t have it. Ms. Bretzky’s hair was longer than what she has now on her website. I will never forget the woman that ruined my two daughters lives and mine. Because of her now my children are now with a father who neglects them and uses my youngest social security income and food stamps for his benefit instead of my children. Shame on you Ms. Karen Bretzky, For lying and saying this is a fake post and that you never were hired by me. This is why I posted a pic. For proof. And yes I know you will try and say something that will try to discredit me but you know that as god as my witness you would be lying.

Personally, my experience with The Bretzke law Firm was wonderful. Mrs. Bretzke didn’t pull any punches when explaining my divorce to me, and I felt she did a great job at explaining the entire process. The ladies that work in the office were friendly as well, and explained my payment plan to me thoroughly. Would highly recommend!

Mrs. Bretzke and her staff were wonderful. They guided me through the entire process of my divorce and explained everything so that I could understand it and make good choices. I would use her again in a heartbeat!

On November 14, 2017 Karen Bretzke and several others where present at the initial CPS conference in my suit. During this conference I and my husband were both mislead that we do not require any attorney present at this "family group conference".
At that time I was incarcerated in Smith County Jail pending criminal charges for the offense that has never existed. We had no money to bail me out and I had very limited access to information.
State of Texas placed a standard protective order against me, which I had no access to, never read and had no idea what it said. But due to it being a standard procedure I am positive that it is any attorney's job in this field to have knowledge of such court orders. I was a stay at home mom and my only plea to everyone was to let me speak and communicate with my children. Miss Bretzke specifically informed everyone that we were not there to discuss any criminal charges against me, we were there to figure out what is the best way to move to reuniting our family.
She also let everyone know that she does not know what the protective order against me implied I can and can not do.
I am positive as my children attorney she had access to that order and knew exactly what it said. It was her job to act in my kids best interest and I am more than positive that it was not in my kids interest to lose all and any communication with their biological mother they have been with day in and day out for 3 and 4 years.
Miss Bretzke not only failed to act in my kids best interest and demonstrated total failure of adequately, competently and zealously represent Avery and Aleks, she also overstepped all ethical boundaries by knowingly, willingly and intentionally creating a gap of communication between me and my children to use that gap as a leverage to blackmail me into admitting guilt for the non existent crime to justify both criminal and civil cases against me.
I hope that my family are the only victims of this negligent, unethical behavior, but in power positions like these I am afraid I am wrong.
Last thing I heard from my attorney is that my children's counselor wanted me to " take responsibility for her actions towards the children's father (in front of them) in your conversation with Aleks"... This information reached me while in jail two weeks prior to my pretrial. I was let go from jail on the day of my pretrial 1 hour prior to the court appearance. My case was dismissed yet I am still unable to talk to my children despite the so called goal of reuniting our family. I and my kids have not seen each other and have not been able to talk to each other for over 5 months now. How is this in any kids best interest?
