I hired Mr. Strickland to help with a custody case. He is very nice until he receives the money. Then you will only deal with his paralegal Andrea who is a complete idiot. He does not have you sign a contract nor does he disclose his fees upfront. He tells you to pay a retainer and then once that retainer is almost used up he will let you know so you can start paying per hour. He did no such thing and just continued to bill without letting me know my retainer had expired. He went on vacation for 2 weeks and then his paralegal went on vacation for a week following that. During that time they were unavailable via phone or email. When they are in the office they do not following a normal business schedule. They come and go as they please making it even more difficult to get in touch with them. Extremely unprofessional. If you do decide to hire him be sure to record every conversation and get everything in writing. Also be aware that you will be charged for that free consultation on your final invoice. You are better off hiring J.P Guidry for any family matter needs.
