Over priced and not a good monthly package at the OC office

Because I love to travel and love to live and try new things, I knew coming to Los Angeles was just a matter of time. I absolutely fell in love with this city and decided to make it my home for now. Of course not being American, I needed some sort of permit to work and support myself while I live here. I paid a visit to this very nice law office and was met by AJ who I believe is the managing attorney here. I took part in the free meeting offered and wasn’t disappointed. It was straight to the point without the hard sell. Seeing that he seems extremely busy I guess it needs to be that way. It was very helpful and I ended the day knowing a bit more than before. And for this reason, I think this place is a good find.

A good place to get legal help. I did quite a bit of digging and decided to see a few immigration lawyers in my neighborhood. I wasn’t even sure if a lawyer was needed for our case because I thought it was an easy marriage process.

After speaking to a few people and friends who went thru this process before, I think I’ll need professional help with it. I met with Mr. Kim and decided to go with him in a few months when my spouse comes to visit me later this year.

Let me just say that I’ve been a client of Mr. Kim for almost two years and he helped me get my very first work permit as a childhood arrival. I had a very informative meeting with Mr. Kim. I was in a bit of a pickle needing some sort of at least temporary solution to my problem. Without going into too many personal details I needed to see to a work project only for a few months. I wasn’t planning on staying in the US forever. Just enough to work on my project but from I could find online, I still needed a solution to work for a few months without violating any immigration rules. I’ve been fortunate enough to find this law firm through a friend of mine who also received her residency through them. After looking this firm up, it certainly didn’t hurt to give it a try. I was inclined to try and manage my own papers with there being so many references on the internet but I couldn’t separate truth from fiction. I personally had a good experience with this law firm. They helped me get my work permit through my marriage then my green card inside of six months. My emails and phone calls were always returned and I never worried. The paperwork on my end was made super easy and my conversations with my lawyer were always free. Meaning I’d hear back from someone usually the same day or the next. Also, very detail oriented meaning effort was made at every step to include as much detail as possible. I didn’t expect much going in to speak to a lawyer but since it was free thought I’d give it a shot. I’d done tons of reading online about my legal situation, it’s so hard to make a living in the country let alone get a working card. I don’t even think it’s this tough in my country. I made an appointment by calling and came in to see the lawyer. He was polite and was very professional. Wasn’t trying to sell my anything, just wanted to know what I wanted and he laid out my options very clearly. He seemed to know what he was talking about. Without going into personal details, I thought our meeting went well and I learned a lot more in about 20 minutes then hours I spent online. It was definitely worth it. i told them that i would be limited on time when i spoke with them on the phone. i only had my lunch break to have our consultation since they said they could not see us after i got off work it would be too late. we arrived a little early hoping they could see me early, but they said their head attorney had not arrived yet. we waited almost an hour and a half and did not see anyone. the place was empty and now i know why. we will be going somewhere else. sorry, but you wasted a lot of our time and caused conflict at my job when i got back. i am very displeased with this service. they even wanted to charge me for this first meeting. now i am glad they were late. it would have been a huge mistake to hire them.

After reading the reviews I thought they were legitimate, but after what happened to us I reread them and can tell that they pay their employee's to write fake reviews. My mother never got to see her grandbaby be born. These fraudulent attorneys gave us every excuse they could think of. They have a nice office that over looks the city, but that's what tricks you into thinking these guys can get the job done. They are extremely overpriced and they set you up on a payment plan stalling you up till they get their $5,000 acting like they will get off their butts and do something once they get their last check, but did anything change once they got all their money? Nope, they got even more lazy and every call or email took at least 3 or 4 attempts to get a response and they always had an excuse, it went to their spam email, or they were on vacation, or they have the wrong phone number. This place is a scam. Now I have to shop lawyers to get my money back from these scammers, and I am sure I will win my money back and punitive damages. It's time to stand up to these scammers!!!!
