Mr. Spitz is the best attorney in San Bernardino County. I would highly recommend his services. I have been extremely pleased with the results on every occasion. Very honest and professional.

Mr. Spitz is a awesome attorney he has helped my family and I in everyway necessary. He always goes above and beyond for his clients and will be a lifelong attorney for any future needs.
I found Mr Spitz to be extremely knowledgeable. I will use his services again should I ever need a real estate Attorny again. He thoroughly explained my options regarding the sale of my real estate.I was needing an unconventional contract selling my manufactured home and the accompanying land it is on. He came recommended by another real estate Attorny, (most are not familiar with manufactured homes). He is easily what you would call an expert in this field!

Do not do business with this guy! Does not want to pay for cost of labor of a fence we had installed at his property.
Mid January i started talking to my neighbor to tell the landlord (Robert Spitz) about a fence i wanted to install to get rid of the nasty chain link fence that was separating our properties.
End of January we agree on $337 each to split the cost of fence and labor. The fence was completed January 27th. Few days go by renters give me a check. I open it later that night and it’s only for $223....
The next day i had called his office personally and secretary told me they needed the invoice for labor. Next day, my wife drops it off and secretary tells her they’ll receive a check in the mail....
It’s now April 9th and no check. I stopped by his office and asked about the check. They quickly say, oh he didn’t agree on labor cost etc.... i said ok well we agreed on $337 (which is less than half of total project) and i only received a check for $223.
Unfortunately i even did him the favor of him having the good side because i wanted to be a good neighbor. I would highly suggest not doing business with this guy. If this how he treats his own property i doubt he is putting the effort into his clients.

I caution you to not retain the law services of Robert Spitz. Here is my summary:
1) Met the attorney for a 30 minute consultation to discuss my real estate issue. Paid $75. 2) Scheduled a second consultation to clarify a few more things. Paid $150. 3) Retained Mr. Spitz and paid him a $2500 partial retainer fee. 4) Immediately terminated my agreement and Robert Spitz as my legal counsel.
This is an honest review. First off, let me say I do not care about getting my hand shook or if the attorney is direct with me. I'm also fine with paying a consultation fee as I realize that these aren't always free. I was more focused on retaining an honest attorney with good experience that is knowledgeable in real estate law. I made a poor choice is hiring Robert Spitz's firm.
After my first two consultations, Robert Spitz had me convinced that he would be able to help me resolve my real estate issue. I only retained him because I thought he would fight for me. I literally had to terminate our agreement after one day. Why? After collecting my partial retainer, his advice after "further reviewing my case" was that I should file bankruptcy. That was NEVER an option for me. Had I known that was what he would advise me, I would have never retained him.
I then proceeded to request a refund. This is what he charged me one day into retaining him and after my check cleared:
- Create file for new client .5 hours - $200 - Research and draft letter 2 hours - $800 - Review client documents .5 hours - $200 - Meeting with client to discuss status of case . 5 hours - $200
In the end, they billed me for a total of $1400. This firm misrepresented themself from the start. Don't be fooled when he boasts 30+ years of experience. I was able to solve my real estate issue without filing bankruptcy and without the help of Robert Spitz's crooked firm. His terrible legal advice and abusive fees are the reason why the people do not trust attorneys! There are good ones out there. He's just not one of them!

The firms staff is extremely friendly and professional. Whenever I inquire on our case the staff quick to answer our questions or solve any issues.
Attorney Robert Spitz is wonderful, aggressive and an effective attorney. We searched the area for a competent Probate/Real Estate Attorney that specializes his practice in this field and found him.

Very disatisfied paid 80 dollars for a consultation; the clerk was nice but the attorney is rude arrogant and lacks compassion for others. I paid for his consultation he refused to listen to me, I would not recommend nor refer him to anyone else.

I am overjoyed with what Mr. Spitz and his Law Firm has done for me. It took mere weeks to resolve a on-going 4 yr. probate case with another law firm. I needed the advise of a Contract Attorney and found an amazingly well qualified Attorney that could handle most any field of law!
Mr. Spitz stopped this lengthy and money draining law firm from further damage (lienning my home).
He heard my case and took it on like the tiger he is. He's right to the point with his questions and a bulldog with his answers (so be prepared).
You won't find a more dedicated, no nonsense, no frills and right to the core type of man then Attorney Mr. Spitz. I can't say thank you enough for all you have done.

Attorney is very knowledgeable, though a little rough around the edges, once you get past his crass persona, he's also an okay guy. Just don't let his indifference intimidate you. You wouldn't want an attorney who was meek to represent your interests now, would you?

Extremely arrogant and the most unprofessional lawyer to ever exist. Mr.Spitz is very friendly during your initial consultation and early on in ur case but quickly turns into an agitated nightmare. He does not return callsand emails after he’s obtained ur money. I’ve never been humiliated and disgraced by anyone like I have been by him. He should no longer be practicing law with the anger problems he has towards his staff and clients. Don’t believe me? Ask his staff how he belittles them.

I retained Mr. Spitz, in May of 2017, and I am so grateful for the work he and Adam, did for me. I had a situation which was very serious, and they really went to my defense and gained control over the opposing counsel. They fought back against the extortion my tenant was attempting and all was resolved to my advantage. They are knowledgeable and experienced with situation’s that happen when one is a landlord and comes across a bad apple. I found his staff to be professional, friendly and helpful. My calls were quickly returned, and I felt confident I was in the right hands. Would give 10 stars if I could.

I would highly recommend Robert Spitz. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge. He is very professional. He will give you honest and Practical wisdom. I retained Robert to represent me regarding a legal matter. After gathering all the information and careful assessment of my case, he exemplified Integrity by informing me that I probably didn’t have a good case but was willing to move forward if I wanted to move forward. With that being said I took his advice and he gladly refunded me the retainer Fee. I commend him for that. Many attorneys would have took the money knowing that I didn't have a good case. If you want an attorney that has Integrity and experience, you should definitely give him a Try.

My experience with Mr. Spitz's law office was excellent. His staff is polite and professional. Mr. Spitz is a very practical, knowledgeable and professional attorney. I highly recommend Mr. Spitz's law office. The office is clean, comfortable and well furnished. I paid for a consult, which was insightful and I paid for follow up visits. Because of Mr. Spitz's excellent counsel and good recommendations, I was spared or saved from several real estate nightmares. He took the time to offer solutions and to explain things to me in plain terms because those long contracts can almost look like a foreign language! Tips to consider: Go there prepared and on time. Listen actively to what he has to say because you can learn a lot from this wise attorney. Take notes. Good luck!

I have known Mr. Spitz for many years, and though I never had a need to use his services, I can assure everyone of two things: 1- he has a very pragmatic approach to situations and go by what is factual and verifiable, which in is profession are the most relevant pieces of any case he choose to take, and 2- he is very meticulous and doesn't deal with the "maybes," the "perhaps" and the "what ifs" people tend to bring to him - I believe that's why people who come for a consultation must be prepared to deal with their own case from a new angle, even to the point of having their own expectation shattered because what maybe common sense to them may not be, under the law.

I paid $100 to get a consult on a case. The conversation lasted five minutes. We came up with a plan and I told him I'll call him back when things took place. Didn't happen exactly as planned so I called back to see if we should move forward.
They wanted another $100.00 just to speak with him to see if we should move forward on the case.

This guy is so arrogant. I called to office and just want to ask some basic information to see if I have a case or not. Surprisingly, I was told I need to make appointment for a paid consultation. Forget it, don't bother. Leave him alone.

I had a very disappointing consultation with Robert Spitz. This rude man is impossible to work with. He asked me questions about my case, before I could answer he would shush me. He controlled the conversation in this fashion, which made it impossible to get on the same page. When I said to him, wow this method of consultation driving me crazy. . He responded "you're calling the skillet black.". His face then turned beet red. As a African American women, I offended.

I have met a lot of attorneys, and Robert is among the best of them. He is a perfectionist and ensures that every single thing he does for his clients is the best it can be. This office is fully staffed with multiple full-time assistants and paralegals/law clerks, including a part of the office dedicated exclusively to bankruptcy, so nothing is rushed. Nothing this office does is just "good enough," it is the best.
