I tried to handle my case on my own for almost 6 months, I was struggling at work to even do anything on light duty. My boss started talking crazy to me so I figured I was going to be fired soon so I had nothing to lose to get a workers compensation lawyer. So that is what I did. Injured on a work site. Neck injury, tried to deal with the pain, doctor would not order and MRI. After about a month I looked for consultation from work injury lawyers in the area. The woman I spoke with at the group was incredible. She told me what to do and said if it did not work to call her back and hire her. Sure enough, I took her advice, my doctor kept treating me as if I was faking, told me my xray was fine, all BS. Hired my lawyer, got an MRI, sure enough, bad news. The only good news is I had a great lawyer switch me to a doctor who wanted to help me and get me back to work. I will eventually need surgery, which is not ideal, but I am happy knowing I have a great lawyer from calling this group to help me when that time comes.

I was very satisfied with my lawyer and her staff. I wish things would have resolved much faster but it seems like the insurance companies don't want to settle cases out of spite of something. The whole process makes no sense and I know I probably annoyed my lawyer and her office at times, but it is so frustrating to hurry up and wait.
