I have used this firm for a variety of issues. They have always been honest and straight forward. Thanks!
I typically would not start off by saying " I had the pleasure to work with an attorney" but after working with Kevin of McCarthy Law I can honestly say it was a great experience. They were straight forward and honest about their recommended approach. Too many attorneys get caught up in wanting to bill more or avoid giving a straight forward answer but this was not the case with McCarthy Law. I truly felt they cared about me as a person and empathized with my situation I felt a lot less like a client and more like a friend who was on the receiving end of great legal advice. That being said they were bulldogs with the other side which is exactly what I needed.

McCarthy Law has helped me grow my business for several years. From reviewing and negotiating loan documents, to going after non-paying customers they have always been professional and timely. In the past i was always afraid to call my attorney because of unknown costs. McCarthy has always been more than fair and have become more of a partner than just my attorney. I highly recommend them.

I retained counsel from this firm to handle an employment dispute. The attorney was inexperienced and pressured me to settle for far less than I should have received or intended so the firm could get an easy pay day. He breached ethical and possibly legal practices in the process, including threatening termination of employment and or arrest (based on false allegations) if I did not accept the settlement offer. He refused to communicate negotiation specifics thru email so I would not have a paper trail. The small amount of emails I was cc'd on were extremely friendly with the company representation and aimed to find a way to easily and safely remove me rather than hold the organization accountable. The attorney strongly and repeatedly recommended NOT going to court although I had a VERY strong claim and a load of documented evidence, including a pattern of behavior and decision making. The attorney never said I didn't have a good case but CONSTANTLY aimed to convince me that a court hearing wouldn't be 'worth it' and that taking the settlement offer and 'moving on' was my best option. He told me that the company admitted to a 'breach of trust', would settle for a specific amount and NOT hurt my employment opportunities moving forward. The company was supposed to tell references that I resigned VOLUNTARILY and AM eligible for rehire (in other words give no indication of the dispute) but they do the EXACT opposite. HE LIED - All of the opposite happened. Although never receiving a less than successful review, great education, years of industry experience, representing the company in non-profit community involvement, not a single write-up ever, all attempts to gain employment in industry go great until contact with prior employer. A private investigator went thru process and confirmed that the company will only verify dates of employment (in corporate language only verifying dates of employment is basically saying the individual is ineligible for rehire) I STRONGLY advise others going forward to be VERY careful with this law firm and make sure you know your options.
