After seeing Paul Rowley speak at an aviation seminar at Phoenix Sky Harbor tower, I contacted the firm to take over the handling of my divorce. My previous attorneys had me on an emotional roller coaster and when a named partner laughed at me during a phone call, I'd had enough. Paul assigned Josh Boyle, who demonstrated not only his legal skill and expertise, but a level of compassion that I didn't think possible. He not only understood my difficult situation, but he clearly empathized with me. He cared.

The case was difficult and, at many times, absurd. My wasband had clearly lost his mind and threw many irrational curve balls at us. Josh handled the case with professionalism that really shined through in our courtroom appearances before the judge. As a team, we came across as honest and reasonable while my wasband's side seemed just the opposite. I think that -- and the case law Josh found to support our requests -- was how we won the case. In the end, the judge's decision was far better than I expected or even thought possible.

Josh was even able to continue representing me when my wasband hired a third attorney to drag us thought a lengthy appeals process. This was not only comforting to me, but likely saved me a lot of money in terms of not having to get a new attorney up to speed on the case. He also helped bring additional action against my wasband for non-compliance of court orders. And when my wasband lost his appeal and finally conceded defeat seven months later, Josh helped deal with the final settlement financial distribution and the sale of the marital home.

I cannot say enough good things about Josh and the professionalism at Rowley, Chapman, & Barney. My only wish is that I'd found them when I first searched for a divorce attorney; it would have saved me a lot of grief if I'd worked with them from the beginning of my 3+ year ordeal.

My father recently passed away and we had several questions involving his trust. Although Mr. Barney did not prepare the original trust, he had recently done some clarifications on the document. In order to settle an investment account, Wells Fargo required and EIN be set up for the trust instead of my father's social security number. Mr. Barney quickly made the application to the state after preparing documents for our signatures. We received the EIN the next day and were able to send to the investment company to complete the change in the investment account. All correspondance by email and telephone was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. We will certainly recommend Rowley, Chapman and Barney to our friends and associates.

This place is the best. They have been helping me since I was in high school. The first time they helped me, I was in two car accidents my senior year of high school (only 2 weeks apart!) and Kevin & Sarah took care of me both times.
