I retained the Sherrod & Bernard Law Firm earlier last year for a child support case. The office staff was very nice and so was my attorney but when we went before the judge it was like she wasn't prepared and didn't ask my ex-wife hardly any questions and didn't even object when the opposing counsel were asking me questions that should havebeen not allowed and I found out later from another judge that questions that I was made to answer about my new wife's financial information was illegal!! Lesson learned if you can't break bread with your attorney, you don't need to use one who will!

She was always in contact always explaining everything. I had questions, she answered them with no problems. It could be very traumatic coming from an accident that's two days before your wedding. And then after that my husband and I are expecting our first child... It was very inconvenient to say the least to have to deal with an accident that's not your fault you didn't ask for it. And at that time I was only in the state of Georgia for 2 months because I moved from Illinois. So I wasn't familiar with anything in Georgia so it was very overwhelming to even think about this case and to find a lawyer that will take it on. The attorney I had was really nice. Susan worked on my case right away and helped me get the best settlement she could. She updated me as soon as she heard back from the other party's insurance company. She took care of the attorney fees and most of my medical bills with the settlement check. I didn't have to worry about paying all of the big medical expenses myself, and that was great. She was even able to get me a discount on one of my medical bills. I still had money leftover in my settlement after mostly everything was paid off. :)
