Kyle took care of our step-child adoption case even though it wasn't his usual field of practice. Throughout the process he was communicative with us as far as where the courts were throughout the process, which admittedly can be long when dealing with family courts across different states. When everything came together for us, it was probably the happiest day in court in history. Even the judge was smiling as she ruled our family to be official. It was a happy day for our family and we appreciate Kyle very much for making it possible for us. Thank you!

Kyle is a fantastic lawyer. He really cares about his clients. He has helped me personally and I cannot say enough good things about him.

Before I write anything related to my fantastic experience as Kyle Califf's client, I want to make something perfectly clear as a matter of preface: I am a real person who really worked with Kyle Califf beginning in March/April '15. I am writing this review entirely of my own volition, which I decided to write because I had such a unanimously positive experience.
I live in Atlanta. Kyle represented me in a personal injury suit related to a bicycle crash. We won the case; it settled before going to trial. I would never consider hiring another attorney for any matter covered by the wide scope of his legal expertise. Over the course of our time working together, I am proud to say that Kyle has become a friend, a confidante, and a source of sound legal advice.
Everything about the operation of the Califf Law Firm is professional and well-thought-out. The consultation is helpful, informative, and reassuring. The contingency fee structure is sensible, transparently communicated, and fair.
So far as I can tell, Kyle interacts with all of his clients himself. It is a small, intimate firm that does not depend upon extensive/vague hierarchies of secretaries and paralegals. You will be working closely with Kyle every step of the way. He was easy to get in touch with, responsive, and accomplished everything that he said he would in accordance with the schedule we agreed upon. He is an excellent writer and speaker. There were no major surprises or flubs. I totally trust the man -- he is reliable and true to his word.
Basically, everything Kyle claimed would happen did in fact happen. He never made promises he couldn't keep. When he was unsure, he told me he was unsure. When he thought we should pursue a particular strategy, he told me he thought we should pursue a particularly strategy. All the while he made perfectly clear that I was in charge -- that he was in fact working for me -- even though his advice never once led me astray.
He kept me updated on major changes/developments as they took place. He always explained unfamiliar legal terms/issues to me in accessible language, even if it took a 5 or 6 page email to do so. Much of suing, as I learned, involves waiting around for the defendant to respond, but I always felt that we were working toward our goal, even when there were slower periods of the case. He never forgot about me or missed a deadline or seemed too busy to answer a small question.
I have no criticisms to share whatsoever. If you're an individual who feels entitled to remuneration because of an accident that was not your fault, do NOT waste your time at a large, anonymous personal injury firm. If you hire Kyle, you won't regret it. The dude knows what he's doing.
