I've known Atty Rutherford for years and he and his staff has ALWAYS BEEN OUTSTANDING in their work effort and and attention to detail...I WILL ALWAYS use them in ANY AND ALL LEGAL MATTERS that I have...

Unfortunately.....I did not take the advice of other reviewers and decided to give this law firm a chance. I believe in supporting black businesses, that way of thinking has cost $1000 nonrefundable with this law firm.
Lets start by I have not actually spoke to a single attorney in 3 months , not even the day before court always an assistant.
If you do go , ask how long will it be before you can speak to an attorney. . . I promise it won't be immediately. 2nd , A staff Member has a tendency to be rude/combative/argumentive over the phone (toothpick legs, anorexia) remember that. Please people, spend your money wisely some where else.
Fortunately for me I can afford that $1000 lost and eat another $2000 lost without braking the bank but you can avoid it by going to a better law firm.

I am a past victim of this law firm and would advise anyone seeking legal counsel to avoid any representation from this firm. Within the years time that I was being represented by this law firm, I requested on several occasions to have a one on one meeting with Attorney Rutherford but to no avail. Also, within the year I had two scheduled court appearances. Sad to say that Mr. Rutherford did not appear in court on either occasion. I was ask to pay an upfront fee of $1500 which I did and was promised a resolution to my civil case. Instead, I was mislead taken advantage of and ultimately had to terminate my legal agreement with this firm. I requested to be refunded the difference from the initial $1500 fee I paid and was told it was non refundable. I am taking the time to write this review in an effort to help warn other individuals from being taken advantage of in their time of legal need.

They have very fair pricing and will return your calls. When you go to their office it is always Clean and they even offer you complimentary refreshments while you wait to speak to a professional.

In between their understandably busy schedules they will handle your case and work hard for you. I recommend this law firm to anyone that wants professionalism from the staff, as well as the attorneys.They even show up to bond hearings and fight for you there as well so check out their services immediately. I am forever grateful to The Rutherford Law Firm and all of their staff! Even with the many hats Mr. Rutherford wears in the community, he still managed to make me feel I was a priority. My cases lasted roughly three years and he never missed a beat.

I own a large academic childcare in Sumter S.C. over 140 children and had a DSS supervisor who would site me unreasonably. This was in process for over 2 years and it finally came to a point my license was in jeopardy, I felt i was going to lose my business.. I'm 56 years old and have been teaching children 35 years so this was my passion and really my whole world!!! My experience with them is Todd rutherford is never there so u can't talk to him only on the phone that the woman at the front desk give you the phone to talk with him so u will never talk to him.2 I only own them 700 more dollars but they said i own them 900 in I had my papers to proof it but the woman at the front change the amount in my face with a pin in said I own them 900 dollars.4 is Todd rutherford got my case throw out but I didn't know they didn't call me or anything to let me know anything. 3 they do not tell you the truth... But overall I give Todd rutherford a 8 but the law firm a 1 or 2 star it's just the people working there suck .his a good lawyer

Stole my money. DO NOT USE THEM. Ran off with my $1000 dollars, lied to me to try to steal MORE of my money by lying to me about my case and stopped returning my phone calls once they knew i found out. Very bad business.

I have contacted your office 4 times over the last two weeks inquiring about any information concerning our case in the death of our son james calvin youngblood...all 4 times someone has assured me someone would contact me and update me as to where the case stands and yet not a single time has anyone bothered to call. There is only 11 months left before time runs out and I have sent you the video and audio of the incident along with the photographs and i don't think it's too much to ask that someone, anyone please contact me and let me know what's going on, do we have a case or not.....your office has my contact number and I would very much appreciate anyone from your office to give me a call and update me on what is going on and where we stand in regards to whether or not we have a case....Thank you and please give me a call, after asking 4 times and being told 4 times someone would contact me and no one has of yet, i don't think this is a unreasonable request.
