Absolutely the best family court attorney. Hands down. My case was very complicated I received custody of all four of my children. Jean is a very good ethical attorney. A good attorney is not cheap. A cheap attorney is not good. You get what you pay for.

Worst attorney ever. Fired her for being incompetent. New attorney had to correct her mistakes. Profanity, never punctual, office a mess. Would not return my retainer...wish there was a rating below 1 Star.

Jean is a wonderful attorney and person and we've always had highly positive experiences with her. Not only did she help us through the legal process, she did so with our best interest in mind. She is an attorney with the highest integrity, she's tough, and she's fair. I wouldn't consider using anyone other than Jean.

It was the worst time in my life, and Jean Derrick made it worst. She made sure she got paid up front and apparently $15,000 wasn't enough to actually be protected by her. She was rude and used profanity towards me and did not pay attention to my defense and gave me very bad advise that cost me thousands of dollars. I would have done better hiring a gummy worm to defend me. She seemed to have more interest in getting paid more than anything.
