The ineptitude and/or scamming efforts shown by the staff at Week's was truly mind boggling. My realtor chose Weeks to represent me during the recent sale of my home. I tend to ask more questions than necessary so before signing anything with Weeks I requested a price list for the services. Thankfully I did because when my representation provided the settlement statement, costs outlined for their services were both listed in a lump sum as "Lawyer Fees" and again itemized out individually - in other words, I was being double charged. Additionally, they put absolutely no effort into working with my buyer's attorney so that I was double charged by my bank thanks to how the official paperwork was filed. More problems we ran into in our very few interactions include the settlement paperwork going to the wrong email address and our UPS package containing all official and highly confidential documentation being "lost" after UPS dropped the package at their office. The fee's were corrected upon my request and the UPS package was found after a few minutes. Apologies were made on the wrong email address - but you have many options in Charleston, I don't know why anyone would go with this firm.
