Jeffery had all charges brought to misdemeanor. He worked effectively and efficiently on my case. At times I felt that perhaps he wasn’t very interested in it. This was incorrect. Jeffery gloves up against the DA. He has no fear, almost ruthless.
If you want a lawyer that is a REAL lawyer, hire Stulberg. DO NOT hire a younger, novice lawyer, or some cheesy law firm.
He wasn’t expensive. Only 3k. Why pay 10k for the same service? This guy is a warrior. His reputation in court proceeds him.
He was very neglectful of my case, I had five arraignments and one sentencing date and Jeff would constantly forget details that were told at the last arraignment. I could tell my case was not a priority for him and that he was probably overloaded with other cases. He seems to takes on as much as he can to make the most profit possible. Not surprisingly his quantity over quality method leaves the client on the loosing end and him on the winning end; just how selfish individuals like it.
You can tell by his squirrelly and antsy nature and overall poor physical shape that he is overworked and stressed.
The worst part about my case was that he wrote down the wrong penal code on my plea form and ended up getting me charged with a more severe crime than orginally agreed upon with the DA, it had longer probation sentence...
To top it off he also has a mentality of, "I am never wrong." Classic lawyer. And would hardly admit he made a grave error.
Not wanting to restart the process I took this bad plea just to end the court dates, my dealings with him, and move on.
It gets better, immediately after the sentencing he pitches me his work again for when I want to petition to get off probation, something one can do by themselves for free but he offered the stellar rate of, "$450 dollars flat." What a bargain! It would probably take him an hour of his time. Of course I'm going to enlist your service again after you just made a horribly severe mistake on my case.
Disgustingly greedy, only in it for the money and not the actual care of the client.
If you meet him in person you will see for yourself his insincere and contrived nature when trying to be sympathetic.
He charges top rates too, $350 an hour. $3500 for felonies and $2500 for misdemeanors.
He is well know in the area so I figured I would pay a premium for what I thought would be one of the best, boy was I wrong.
You're much better off looking for a novice lawyer that charges less, has less cases, and is more sympathetic.
Do not enlist this mans service, he is terrible.
