Scott prepared court documents for me on two separate matters. He handled both my cases with confidentiality and professionalism. Scott always reached out to me to clearly communicate updates (or to communicate there was none) and anytime anything was needed or with reminders for pending items. He was kind and caring to my situation. If I ever need anything of this nature in the future, I will be returning to Scott Powers for assistance.

Extremely unprofessional so called "business." I paid a handsome amount to have a filing done for me only to wait several weeks before receiving an update on the status. And that's only because I called numerous times before he finally got back to me. Then I patiently waited (several more weeks) for him to "recover" from a foot injury. I'm not sure how a foot injury prevents you from typing on a computer or picking up a phone but apparently it does. Ultimately the court rejected the filing. When I finally received a call back (after calling him several times AGAIN) and inquired about another status update he had the audacity to tell me that I would have to pay him an additional fee (I'm not referring to the court filing fee) to have the filing resubmitted. Excuse me?! Generally when you hire a "professional" to perform work for you the expectation is that they know the appropriate steps to take and that it will be done properly the first time. If not, a good business person will at least assume the responsibility for their error or omission and attempt to make good on their initial promise of service. This is obviously NOT the case with Mr. Scott Powers. If you have any expectation of halfway decent customer service then I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere. You will receive zero followup on any status update. To add to the frustration Scott is RARELY in his office and NEVER picks up his phone. If overpaying and being under serviced doesn't bother you then you will be one satisfied customer. Otherwise beware!
