The girl in the office told me the attorney was on another call, and she would place me on hold. Then she claimed that the attorney just ended the call and she would place me on hold to speak with him. After about 5 minutes, I was told the attorney left for the day. That is INCREDIBLY disappointing, as well as being unprofessional.
If I get a call back tomorrow and things are handled appropriately, I will be willing to update my review.

This firm is very rude, you can never get connected to talk to an attorney there due to them being on lunch break or out of the office, when you leave your info for them to return your call you never hear from them, I have called 4 times since Friday morning & still can't get past reception! I would never ever recommend this law firm to anyone. Very unprofessional.

Had a lady representing for this place against me today. Very very rude and unhelpful once she heard I had a lawyer. They decided to try and sue me 6 years later for a car in 2012. She said they’ve tried to get in contact with me but had nothing to say after I showed her the report of them not once trying to contact me over the years. Extremely rude and fake!! Bullying and fakeness won’t get you very far. I have a great defense lawyer. Even the judge said I have one of the best. So to come at me after 6 years is irrelevant. That’s like me going to someone in 5 years, saying hey, I gave you $50, I want it back. If I wanted that money bad enough I would’ve gone after it within the year and not lie about how many times I’ve tried to get into contact with them. I’m an honest person and do the best I can. But when you start being rude, you’ll get what’s coming. Don’t play with fire if you don’t want a hailstorm coming full force. Do not let these people bully you into signing anything. Get a lawyer and know your rights!! Good luck!!

Record all calls and keep all correspondence you have with this company. I paid on a group of bills that was placed with them faithly for 5 years until they were paid off. There were 2 occasions were my payments were maybe three days late and they sent me letters letting me know that if I didn't pay immediately they would take me back to court. According to my records, the account was paid in full in July 2017 and confirmed by no warning letters when I did not make any payments after that. I tried to call and speak to someone several times but no one ever returned my call. I also asked for statments each month to see how my payments were being applied but never received those either. Fast forward to today when I am selling my home and find out these wonderful people have placed a lien on the property for the orignal judgement. I cannot get anyone at the office to talk with me about it. Needless to say I will have to take them to small claims court to get back the money the closing company is keeping from my proceeds. I will be filing a Bar complaint as well. The Clerk of the County that I reside in stated that they do this to a lot of people.

This firm is simply after judgments. they went as far as to not mail me notification of court so that that way I wouldn't show up and just point out the simple fact that what they were trying to enforce as a debt was beyond the statute of limitations. The statute of limitations had expired almost a year before, so now while looking at losing my house and everything else, instead I'm paying to file briefs and Court trying to get this default judgment vacated because it was not legally enforceable regardless. then when you call the try to speak to one of their attorneys, it's never going to happen because they're never there.

Robinson Hoover & Fudge, PLLC Receptionist and Jessie is one of the most rudest people to talk too. When I tried to tell Jessie without cussing or acting belligerent I explained I have a Order from the judge saying its owed to me and that woman was trying to tell me nothing is owed back too me I tried to explain refund is owed to me, because the dates she was giving me was wrong she immediately wanted to terminate the call. Even when i allowed Jessie to speak she still choose to terminate the call without me even stating what Mr. Hoover, himself said is owed back to me from a garnishment settlement. and when i called back to speak to the receptionist she was even worse when i ask to speak to attorney and/or leave a message for Mr. hoover she claim "They don't have voicemails" and said she would have to terminate the call because I'm raising my voice. I said i am not yelling or cursing anyone out i am upset and why Isn't there any type of customer service. They are the most rudeist people!!!!

Thus is a debt collection firm. They worked with us and now we're on our way to being paid off.

This is the worst law firm I have ever dealt with! They don't answer phone calls, they don't return phone calls and no one in the office can answer any questions. I have never received the appropriate paperwork from this firm to proceed with any type of arrangements. I don't know why a large company like Bank of Oklahoma would use and or trust a firm like this is beyond comprehension! The only reason they got 1 star is it's the only way I can post!

A bill that would have cost me $871.92 if I had known about it will end up costing about $1700 maybe a little more by the time it’s all paid off. It just seems like no matter what I pay towards paying it off, I just owe more and more and more. I didn’t realize my medical insurance didn’t pay it because they should have and I’m horrible at keeping up with that stuff, that is with Insurance EOBs, so of course too long had passed for the Insurance to pay. The fees are for court fees, which I never protested that I owed the bill, and then there is also the interest charges that they charge you for owing the bill until it’s paid off. So the interest fees just keep coming. So, not only do they get to collect a fee from the company that the bill is from, but they also get to collect attorney fees, court costs (which I didn’t go to court because I called before the court date and agreed that I owed the money and agreed to a payment plan, but I still have to pay court costs) and continuing interest on the bill. It’s almost like having to pay off a horrible loan shark. And I know some people may think I’m only complaining because I have to pay them and that’s why I think they’re horrible, but it’s not. I was a single mom for a long time and supported my 3 children on $12.50/hr working as a medical assistant for a physician, I don’t know how I did it but I did. Since then, I have got my Bachelors degree and I am an RN trying desperately to fix the bills that I had to let go because it was either pay my rent and feed my children or pay the bills, such as doctor bills and so forth. As I’m trying to fix my credit and pay those outstanding bills,I have come across many debt collectors who have been great to deal with and I have not yet come across any that I have had to basically pay 2x what I originally owed. I’m sorry that the bill wasn’t paid in time and unfortunately the bill was really old (like 6yrs old), but that’s no excuse for robbing a person. And hopefully one day soon I can be done paying.

If I could rate this firm in negative stars I would. I spoke personally with Robinson and he was very unprofessional and rude. I would go on and on about all of the inappropriate things he said, but I don't have that kind of time on my hands. I will say this, if someone were to ask me if they should pay their debt to this firm I would tell them in my opinion, just forget it and file bankruptcy. This option would be easier, help get a clean slate to their credit and not have to deal with this firm. If bankruptcy is not an option, make sure you record each phone call, (if anyone returns your phone call) let them know you are recording it before you say anything else, and have all paperwork, email and all transactions saved from any contact with this company!

Not helpful. Dodged questions. Robinson became very agitated that I mentioned the way the handled business felt criminal. Kept accusing me of calling them criminals, then proceeded to start citing Oklahoma laws. When I told them I was never served notice of the suit, he called me a liar and then described a person they had on video that was not even remotely close to me. When he realized this, he shut down and refused to speak on anything else. He did give some good advice though, if you know that you are being sued by them, immediately contact a lawyer, because they will withhold information that will end up costing more money.

I live under a Corporation that hired this firm. I have been helping another stockholder to reconcile his debt through this collection attorney office with Zero satisfaction from them. Everything I have done has been in an extremely timely manner with complete politeness, consideration, and professionalism. The person I have been assisting has had his debt paid for almost an entire month now. My corporation has not heard a word about this pay off from Robinson, Hoover, and Fudge at all. They have had the pay off in their position but have been sitting on it for no good reason. I was promised a receipt of the pay off for the last few weeks which has yet to come. I am now taking steps to file complaints with the corporation representing me through these attorneys, the state attorney generals office, and the BBB. I feel that these collection attorneys are doing my corporation and those trying to get their debt straight a disservice. I would not be inclined to recommend hiring them.

Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. When you call they want YOU to call back due to staff being on break when the professional thing to do being as you are actually calling would be to return a phone call. Just laziness the new American way of workforce always wanna get paid yet never wanna do their job!

If you are being sued by this company, do NOT listen to what Richard Robinson has to say when he tells you everything is taken care of and will go the way he tells you it will go. If he tells you not to worry about an impending court date and mentions something about a "stop order" do NOT believe him. He is a total liar and will not return any of your calls. I called him 14 times and left messages with his secretaries and not one single time did he ever call back, and now the court date that he told me I wouldn't have to go to, well, I didn't go and now I have a citation and he is taking all of my income tax. He is fraudulent and slimy and can get away with it since he is a board member with the OBA. So please be aware that if you walk in to your court date and he is "completely understanding", do not listen to anything he says because he will screw you over!!!
