The worst attorney I have EVER encountered. You are better off representing yourself. He is not punctual or good at what he does. I knew more about my rights and the law than he did. Make sure you get a legitimate contract and receipt. This guy decided to keep my $2100 and did not represent me once, which is what I paid him to do. I had to appear before the judge alone for a continuance due to a school exam. I text him and told him I had to get the continuance done today after giving him over a week advance. He was mad at me for taking it into my own hands, but the exam was the next day. He acted as if his life was more important and I should just show up/ skip exam. He just wanted easy money. The Judge scolded him when he finally came through the doors for not doing his job. Come to find out he was in the building next door at criminal court. It wasn't until I messaged a photo of the courthouse that I got a reply. He ran over, guess he didn't think I would really get my own continuance. Purdie NEVER answers the phone, hardly calls back. It’s truly absurd. Did not show for court. After I called him out numerous times he decided to be a coward, place the blame, and keep my money. It was very sad considering my circumstances. Plus he did not even live in Memphis. He stated he lived an hour away as if that was an exception. This is my contribution of service...find another attorney, save yourself trouble.

I must say, Mr. Purdie, is one of the best Legal Expert's around the Mid South Area. However, Mr. Purdie is very honest, respectful, and brilliant. I can personally say, I'm very pleased with Mr. Purdie Legal Knowledge and Integrity.
