Josh is inconsiderate and has a problem returning a phone call. I am uncertain if his office staff relays messages correctly. I retained him and did not speak to him again even though I phoned his office 4 times and left messages for him to contact me. I did not want an in-depth conversation with him but merely wanted to know what to expect in Court. Less than 24 hours prior to the hearing, I phoned (the 4th time in almost a month) and requested he contact me. I was advised that I had to email his assistant with any questions. When I expressed that I simply wanted to speak with him for a few minutes, I was advised that he would not represent me anymore but would at the hearing the next day. He did a good job at the hearing but advised me that if I wanted someone to phone me, he was not that guy. My problem is that when I arrived at court, I had no idea what was going to happen. I had not spoken to him in a month. I did not call a lot. I am in the legal field and understand. I simply wanted to know what to expect at my hearing. He did refund a portion of the money I paid him but remained inconsiderate and unprofessional.

My husband hired him to defend him on several cases. My husband payed him 5000 dollars to do so . After the payment had been made in full Mr Crain asked the judge to remove him from my husband case because he failed to make a secluded appointment with him.Which was true my husband is a busy man and did miss the appointment. But Mr Crain never tried to sit a discuss anything at court, where my husband was always present.The judge allowed this and removed him from the case screwing my husband and family out of the 5000 dollars we had payed him. Not a very Nobel thing to do in my book. Hope u have a better experience with him then we did......

This is my honest opinion of Mr.Crain as a defense attorney not a divorce lawyer . In the divorce field it seems he thrives . Now in my defense case , I would say I felt I didn’t get the best outcome that I could in my situation . I had 2 felonies charges against me . 1 which was convicted felon with a firearm was dropped in plea bargains . Which it would’ve been dropped anyway bc I had no knowledge of the weapon being around me in my family member’s vehicle .Hell even the court appointed attorney told me that and they work for the county . Now I question the one I’m stuck with on my record for god knows how long ,which hinders me my fiancé and my 4 daughters to have a better life . I’ve been told it should’ve been a misdemeanor but at this point I’m exhausted and nervous to even deal with this type of system . My race is my true crime in this county I feel this . I felt like I was poorly communicated with by my attorney and when there was communication it was of short words . More financial terms than court concerns were discussed . I previously posted on this company but took it down due to I thought Mr.Crain was attempting to fix the situation . Yet here it is again I’ve been let down . I work 16 hours a day and raise 4 daughters. I set a date that I could come sign some paperwork to take this back to court. Here it is not the date but 5 minutes before I have to be at work that I get a message that I need to come today to sign it . I was stopped on my way to Bonnaroo from out of state on what I thought to be shaky grounds and lied to about speeding. I also had my rights violated because of the precedent that you can't call for a drug dog to the scene of a traffic stop without reasonable suspicion. Mr. Crain pushed both routes of defense, as well as sought out plea bargain opportunities (diversion program etc.) before the date. He also actively sought out evidence on my behalf such as the dash cam footage. I am very impressed with his work and the situation ended up being resolved completely with a full dismissal and expungement, in one court date (very important due to beings 9 hours away). Would very much recommend and would definitely rehire (although I don't plan on ever coming back to Tennessee). A little short worded, but never due to lack of work. Very reasonable due to him probably being very busy. If I needed a response I got one in a timely manner.
