If I could give Lisa Werner a negative star I would. She took our case when it moved from NC. We paid her $35,000 and she quit because she lost the case and wanted $10,000 upfront to appeal it. She refused to answer the judge's orders until I dished out more money and because of her I lost visitation with my kids and my support is more than I make. I sold my house, truck and cashed in 2 retirements to pay her and still today she sends me a bill adding $300 late fees per month to it! She doesnt care about Fathers and I and still persuing the Bar Association over her and the way she handled my case. I am appealing the Bar now because her actions has caused me more problems. So if you are a dad and love your children..stay away feom her!

Run like the wind from this completely incompetent, unscrupulous and scoundrel oriented firm. They pay no attention to facts or accuracy and are more focused on creating chaos, distraction and delays motivated by selfishness and greed for inflating fees. They have no legitimate interest for helping the client. They prey on a client's emotions and extend a case as long as possible in order to increase fees. They have a horrible reputation throughout the Knoxville legal and judicial community. In fact, the expression most commonly used to describe Lisa Werner and her "firm" by the court system is, "here comes the sh*t show". On multiple occasions this "firm" has exhausted a clients funds without moving a case forward whatsoever, abandoned the client at that point, then sued the client for any remaining assets. Attorneys familiar with this "firm" all express the same disdain for their tactics. Do your homework first. Ethics and integrity are foreign words to Werner.

Lisa has a vast team of willing people that are dedicated to helping in anyway possible. They have went above and beyond anything that I have ever expected from a Law Office. I recommend Lisa or anyone at her office to fully help out with any question or problem.

Very snobbish and unreliable

Ms. Werner is great to work with in a very stressful time. Unlike other attorneys I have used in the past, she is very prompt at returning calls and answering text messages. I will not hesitate to call her again if I am ever in need of a lawyer.

Horrible attorney for child custody, she lied to me about what she could then charges for what she can't do , spent 6,000 $ then she tells me to get a new lawyer because the anderson county was corrupt. She charges for 15 min calls even tho the call lasts 2 mins , charged me over a 1,000 $ for seeing if i could have lunch with my child. But no lunch. Thief!!!!

I am so grateful I switched attorneys and Lisa represented me in my recent hearings in court. It was a good move because Lisa was very attentive, responsive, and knowledgeable. She worked hard for me to discovery some truths about our case that otherwise may not have been disclosed. She presented the facts calmly to the Judge and her understanding of the Law was communicated effectively. I believe I was treated fairly and that she fought for the truth to prevail in court. We were able to come to a reasonable settlement and I would recommend Lisa to my Family and Friends.
