Jeff was a terrible attorney. Not only did he just do continuances for my case , he on occasion never showed up to court on scheduled court dates while I sat there from 9:00 am til 5:00pm. He resolved absolutely nothing. Definitely do not let him do trial law. He was horrible. He nor his office returned phone calls in a timely matter or if at all. Once he had the retainer I rarely heard from him. I had to go with another attorney and did not receive any of the money back I paid him. Also, just know that the Solicitors and Judges do not like his condescending and demeaning attitude towards his clients and them. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!! You would be better off defending your self.

We hired Jeff to represent my mom, and his representation of her was terrible. After the initial meeting we never heard from him again. We would call his office and they said hed call us back and guess what? ( he never did). His lack of communication on my moms case was aweful, he didnt communicate, he didnt talk strategies, he didnt do anything, it was like all he saw was dollar signs and that's it. We tried to ask what the game plan was and he woukdnt even tell us that. There were details he could have told us about but neglected to. Very disappointed in the "best attorney in canton". After a while his assistant Cameron took over he was a bit better but not much. There was no communication whatsoever. You pay his fee and you dont even get your money's worth, he promises u can call him whenever and he will be there, but hes not.he failed a resident of cherokee county and that will stick with us forever. I won my case, first of all. Mr. Heller is a winner. I felt I was lucky that he was my lawyer. He was by far the best Attorney there. He is very sharp. We instantly had an unspoken Communication and we work Great together. He knows when the ask the right questions and he knows when to be quiet.
While you’re waiting on the case Jennifer one of his paralegals worked great with me. My wife was arrested for DUI. We felt the charge was false and decided to fight it. He analyzed our case and believed that we had a good chance of winning it at trial, though he made no promises, as any jury trial is risky. I believe that our case was won by Mr. Heller during his closing arguments to the jury. His skillful and logical presentation convinced them that the Prosecutor did not have the evidence required for a conviction. When the jury foreman said “Not Guilty”, it was, of course, a tremendous relief and there was no doubt that we had hired the right attorney. He is a horrible attnory My story is much like the one from the other 1 star review Once he receives his retainer $1500 it is hard to get ahold of him let alone maybe even see him again he is a horrible attorney and did not do a single thing from my case except maybe make it worse multiple stall tactics to buy time that hurt you in the long run legally I thought I did my due diligence I would not trust a thing he says I feel like I got robbed an 5 years of my life is ruined.

This is a very talented lawyer. I had him before with good results but this time I was just as innocent as last time and was found guilty. I had never ever gotten in trouble with the law, but unfortunate for me i encountered some problems in Canton, Cherokee County. I had no idea of what to do at first, till i did some research online and came in contact with Mr. Jeffery Heller. Mr. Heller provided me nothing less than an expert and professional service. He is the one Lawyer I would recommend to anyone. He is experienced, knowledgeable and knows how to apply the law for any situation. I had requested his service twice and both times he did a good job and got me what i wanted.

I went to Jeff for help with debt relief. At the time I was enroled with a "Debt Settlement" firm that was supposed to help protect me while I worked off the debts.
It wasn't working, Over 11 months I paid in almost $4000 and not one creditor had been paid and now they were starting to come after me in the courts. I was worried to death.
I found Jeff on the internet and called his office. They made an appointment for me with him THAT DAY and scheduled it for 5:30 pm AFTER I got off work.
After meeting him and candidly discussing my situation he assured me he could help. He wasn't certain he could deliver on a Chapter 7, but assured me that if not we could go with a Chapter 13. I found his confidence very reassuring. That night I slept better than I had for months. I started feeling that things were going to be OK.
Mr Heller treated me with compassion, respect and exuded the confidence I needed to see to really believe things would get better.
Bottom line is we were able to get the Chapter 7 and it was almost painless. I just did what he and his staff instructed me to do and before I knew it, it was over.

I was a bankruptcy and social security disability client of Jeff's. I first sat down with him after losing my very good job as an executive with a fortune 500 company. The reason I had to quit was due to contracting crippling and even life threatening lyme disease. Because of my loss of income, I couldn't keep all my creditors happy and I was facing many lawsuits. I called Jeff and he put together a plan that allowed me to set payments that I could afford and I was even able to keep my house which I thought was impossible since I was 8 months behind on my mortgage. He later successfully represented me in my appeal for social security disability benefits after being denied twice. This is a lawyer that cares just as much about you as a person as he does about the case that he is handling. His attitude, knowledge, and perseverance make him a champion for everyday people.

I find the two reviews the complete opposite in the experience I had. Jeff was very hard to deal with in the manner I could hardly ever get him on the phone. When I did his answers were very short and he acted as if I was an inconvenience. Their communication to me about my case was nonexistent. I had to constantly run them down for answers. I can understand why the second review is the way it is with Jeff having served in the Marines as well. Maybe to get that kind of service one must serve. This whole experience has been a 100% complete disaster and I hope and pray that if I ever have to get another attorney I will get one that treats people like a real human and not just a payday. I would never recomend Jeff to anyone no matter what the circumstance may be. Jeff says on his billboard "Give em Heller" I did not know that ment for his client. I do plan on reporting him to the board.
