After we purchased our home, we discovered the seller had done extensive renovation without a building permit. We were responsible for fixing the seller's shoddy work. We contacted Lance Law who did the paperwork for the sale and put together all documents requested. Jack Lance never returned our calls despite leaving messages with Richard and other staff. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Very unprofessional. We purchased land recently and used this law firm. Since we live 6 hours away we had a remote closing which was on the 6th. We were told we would be receiving our paperwork in 10 business days. So when we hadn't received them by the 21st I called. Shauna wasn't there and no one seemed to know what was going on. I ask another person to check on it and call me back. Didn't happen. Instead sent my husband an email. I called them back the next day and was told the papers had been mailed out on the 11th. We received the papers on the 27th and it was postmarked the 20th. On top of that they sent the paperwork in the plan old mail, non certified or even tracked. So we could have had someone steal our mail and possibly have possession of our personal information. Not professional at all especially since we paid almost twice what our realtor told us it should cost. They had no problem charging us for less than par service.
