The "Secretary " is very unprofessional and rude . Multiple payments were paid over the phone and unaccounted for. She refused to relay messages to the attorney and / or have him call a paying client . I personally had to contact the court to find out / discuss court date. This was no surprise to them. They encouraged me to try to speak to the attorney directly , which is impossible. The amount of business , the loss of money , and hit to this attorney's reputation this woman is and has caused is great. With her attitude , she would lucky to work as a grave digger. Mr shook is an outstanding criminal defense attorney. I've had my fair share of " run ins" with that law and consequently much interaction with many attorneys. Mostly unpleasant to say the least. However my experience with Mr Ron Shook was quite different. Hes a straight shooter. Will never sell you a dream but will work fiercely to get the best possible outcome in your defense. I had a total of five charges in gastonia NC . Two of which were criminal offenses and the other three were traffic. It was absolutely incredible how dedicated, and relentless he was in my legal matter. He doesn’t charge an arm and a leg. He gave me an upfront specific price, and my case dragged on for awhile. NOT EVEN once asked for more cash. He is very reasonable and is willing to work with you.
